I'm a novice electric guitar player (been playing acoustic for 25 years) but have been on the fast track with my bandmates helping me every step of the way, including the use of this incredible piece of technology. I just gigged with it for the first time this past weekend, and it was so easy to use and created an incredible sound on stage.

Great things: ON/OFF switch! Separate volume controls for headphones, XLR outputs and amplifier outputs. USB-C connector. Uses standard center negative 9 Volt power supply. English manual IS readable! Global ability to turn speaker IR's on/off separately for different outputs. Expression pedal is solid and works well. Unit is very stylish and well built. Soft touch buttons are silent, light up to show function and work well. Has five knobs beneath the screen to quickly adjust settings on the fly. It has 22 touch buttons on it to quickly jump through all aspects of a program for modifying the preset. Small enough to fit on many pedal boards to integrate with other pedals. I would only wish for a 1/4" headphone output and an effects loop. For the money this puppy is unbeatable. -- Michael

Great buying experience! Thanks, Team Donner for this versatile and affordable product! It does exactly what I want it to do, which is provide me with significantly improved sonics/dimensionality in my overall guitar sound, with specific attention to that CRUNCHY distortion sound I'm always chasing while writing chops with my Ibanez RGIB21 baritone CRUNCH machine.
So many options, so little time!
Keep up the great work!

It is a well built product for the price

I am impressed with the Arena. It’s easy to use and understand, even for an older person as myself. It has plenty of good tones and the modeling is very good. I was able to get a setup that was satisfactory in about 30 minutes without reading the instructions or you tube help. It’s going to be my new rig for local gigs. Thank you for building a nice pedal.

Thanks she made Maggie and me so happy at first because the delivery time took so long I thought I was getting scam but when I’m wrong I say I’m wrong you guys came through really appreciate it and love this box. My only complaint is you guys need to have some tutorials on how to use them as there’s a lot of complex stuff here that the 60’ and overcrowd would have difficulty with and could use some guidance. Please advise.

Got this as an emergency backup/travel box, and to load IR’s as an emergency DI/cab sim with everything else shut off. Works great for that, but also I can create some great, usable sounds. The models of amps and pedals absolutely do not sound like their namesakes. Don’t expect to turn on an LA-2A or Klone or BE/SLO100 and have it behave like the real thing. It’s not even close. I work with all of the real things. But if you forget about the names, and just listen to the sounds each makes and create recipes by ear, you can get very usable sounds out of this unit. For the price, it has a high value proposition. It doesn’t appear to be able to withstand heavy abuse but that’s not the point with a unit like this.

I am still learning and it may take me a while. So far I am very impressed with all the features and for the price I think it's amazing however, the tone seems very bright, much brighter than I prefer but as I said I am still learning this unit. I haven't used it in a live setting yet and when I do it will be direct into the sound system and maybe it won't seem so bright. All in all, for the price this unit is pretty amazing.

Still playing with this as there are a ton of pre packaged cans/amps/sounds. Very impressed with the build quality and functionality so far, ESPECIALLY for the price point . Going to continue tinkering and hopefully come out with an even higher opinion

It offers great variety of tones and effects w drum beats to keep it creative makes it easy to create your own riffs while noodling.I’ve just been plugged in to headphone in my room and it’s going just the way .thanks

This effects unit provides a multitude of different tones from gentle to hard core djent. Great resource for practice and would probably hold-up to the rigors of stage performance. Highly recommend.

The Arena 2000 is a very good value offering a lot of presets, excellent input/output options, and a good build quality. The manual is helpful to get going quickly, but the phone app is a real plus for making faster edits. The presets provide a great overview of all the different effects, amp, and cab simulations, but, as others have pointed out, the real value is when you get inside the presets and customize them for your own personal use. I'm having fun with it. So far I've used it to plug into the front end of a clean guitar amp (disable cab IR for 1/4" outputs) and to experiment with editing while via headphones. Next up I'm going to plug the stereo XLR outs into my sound system to try out the cab IR's in that context and finally will run it into my DAW and try some recording. Great bang for the buck! I wish Donner would make a small padded bag to protect the unit when put into a larger gig case, etc.

I am pretty happy with the arena 2000 so far. The included amps and cab sims all seem serviceable. The existing presets are okay overall with some pretty great ones and a bunch of useless ones but you can make your own of course too. Comparing it to my old line 6 pod hd500 this sounds MUCH better. I don't love or hate the settings and layout but using the app makes it much easier. I will say this is not to the level of an Axe fx or kemper which no one should expect for the price but for a non pro level recording musician I think the sounds are more than adequate. Other than that it seems fairly sturdy and I'm glad I got it. (Donner if you make this into a rackmount unit I'd probably buy a second one just sayin)

This little modeler packs serious tone! I've been using amp modeling since its inception. I've continued to update with the new models. I especially like these little units that have an expression pedal on board. The Arena2000 is a tone chasers dream. The inputs and outputs have been well thought out and there seems to be nothing missing. However, the unit is quite small. The plus side is that it fits comfortably on my desk. The downside is that I pretty much only had room enough for the heel of my foot when using the treadle. The Arena2000 utilizes both touchscreen and rotating knobs. Once you get into it the layout it is very intuitive. I read just enough of the manual to know where the touchscreens are, after that I was figuring it out for myself. The rotary knobs are very responsive. You'll notice that every subtle change of the parameters changes the tone. This is as it should be and feels like using a real amp. However, I had a problem with my fingers activating the touchscreen while using the rotary knobs. The AC power supply has swap-outs for different country's receptacles. It completely lost power two times while I was using it. I swapped out the power supply for another with the same voltage and amps and haven't had an issue since then. Despite being a little confused by the name, I'm going to welcome the Arena2000 into my 2022 recording studio.

Great Product! Easy to use! Great for gigging which is what I needed this for. I never had a good system to hookup to house PA's, this has a balanced XLR output to provide this use. The presets give you a chance to fully customize to your personal tone!

I waffled between 4 and 5 stars on this one. I bought it to have a smaller footprint on stage when I play acoustic gigs. It's actually a lot of fun to create my own patches and sound combinations. There are a lot of distorted sounds and folks who are more into metal or at least harder rock would probably really love this. I'm more of a jam band fan, so I just wanted to have some subtle delays, phasers, chorus, etc. in various combinations. I'm still getting the hang of it, but it really can do a lot. My only complaint is that it does sound...digital. Many of the pedals on my main board are analog, so maybe I'm just sensitive to the differences and I doubt folks in the audience can tell the difference. With that being said, it's not a significant cost and you can have a lot of fun with it no matter what you play.

Very nice all the way around. Built very well. Huge color screen. Easy to use. So many options and features.

Fantastic little amp modeler with a lot of preset sounds but it really shines when you do a deep-dive and start manipulating the parameters and shaping your own.

This unit has some very good presets and sound's amazing. The unit has a great looper and pretty good drum sounds.
