So far so good… wish it had some adjustable bass… but cool so far!

It is portable and practical. I love all the features, specially the metronome and the fact that it is battery opperated lets me take it on the road and practice wherever I go. No need to set up anything!

It would be nice if you shipped to Hawaii. Had to have it sent to family on mainland. Then they got it to us. That was a pain. But hey we got the drum and love it. Mahalo

As an alternative to a full drum set, I like that this multi-pad does not occupy a large foot print and the sound volume can be adjusted accordingly; It is very easy to switch between the various drum sounds and I love that the silicone rubber pads are pressure sensitive. If I hit a pad harder, the volume will increase accordingly.
Construction wise, it is quite solid and primarily plastic; I recommend not using any alcohol-based wipes or cleaners on the silicone rubber as it will deteriorate at a quicker rate. With the large size, I did not find it too cumbersome to lift to a table and I opted to use the included AC wall adapter.
I do wish there was some indication on what kind of stands are compatible and support this multi-pad; I was using this at my desk and the pedal cable length barely reaches the floor. Something lower like a coffee or side table does seem to be more comfortable for striking the pads with the included drumsticks.
Things I did not really like:
- With no USB-B cable included, I could not connect this to my PC to verify that it could used as a game controller.
- The three-digit red LCD screen is a bit cryptic when delving deeper into menu settings.
- Pedal cable length is a bit short for using this multi-pad at a desk.
I really had to look at the instruction manual closely to get a better understanding of how to navigate through the detail menu settings; I learned that the first digit represents a letter is the menu option and the next two digits are the level it is set at: ‘S04 = Surface Impact Sensitivity is set at level 4’
It is nice that the orientation of the pads can the configured for left-handed use and I was able to change the drum order within the 4 presets available. The ‘click’ button does mimic a metronome well and I find it useful for practicing rhythm; I find it a bit odd on this unit that the bottom arrow button increases the speed whereas the top arrow button decreases the speed.
It is an interesting piece for content and music creation as I love the variety of drum sound I can get from this relatively inexpensive unit; I appreciate that the pedals do not need to be bottomed out to trigger sound for the hi-hat or kick pedal drum. The included drumsticks do not have a clearcoat nor smooth glazed finish; I suggest getting better sticks for the sake of comfort during longer practice or play sessions.

This review is for the Donner Electronic Drum Kit- Portable Electric Tabletop Drum Set Machine, Built-in 150 Sounds/30 Songs, Connect with PC for Drumming Game,Gift for kids and Beginner - DED 50T
Some of the features of this drum set that I like are:
1. Includes thirty short songs for you to drum along to.
2. Comprises one hundred fifty tones
3. Capable of adjusting the sensitivity to the desired level of pressure
4. Can be operated either by plugging it in or by using the battery, making it extremely convenient.
5. Headphones are available for usage, in case other people don't want to hear the drumming
6. A wide variety of features, including the ability to record drum beats
7. The drum sounds are incredibly distinct and clear.
8. Specifically outlined instructions
9. Includes a built-in metronome
10. Includes everything you need to get started, including pedals, drum sticks, and other accessories.
11. Doesn't take up space
Cons:
• Because there are so many functions, I get confused sometimes
• Drumsticks are made of a grainy wood and might not last for long time.
In general, this is a terrific drum kit for anyone just starting out.

This is a good fun set to learn on. Comes with drumsticks, Power Cord and two pedals. I had fun tinkering around on it.
I find it relaxing to tap out some sounds to set a mood. Although I'm sure a pro could make good use of this, I think it's more on the beginner's level.

My man is a drummer. He loves this table top set for quieter times and for teaching me how to drum. Sound is great but you can also add an amp or another speaker. I love the hand percussion option on it as well. Can not believe how much i fell in love with this lil awesome drum set!!

Just received this drum and can't wait to try it

a friends movie and the results were excellent, as it is touch sensitive. Because of which, it lets you get a certain degree of dynamic velocity. Keep in mind, I am not a drummer. I actually learned how to play on this product and my daughter is also learning on this machine. (I'm learning faster as I've been a musician for the last 30 years.) I see myself upgrading in the future, but for now, this piece does rock.

Here is a video of me trying it out with the built-in speakers.
It is fun.
It is very expandable, such as being able to connect to a computer as well.

I ordered one for my grandson because it is for beginners.

Setup is easy. Just plug it in using the A/C adapter, then plug in the two footswitches, one for the hit hat, and the other for the bass drum, and you are all ready to go. There is built in speakers. It even includes a couple of drumsticks. I took it a step further and plugged it into an Avatar drum amplifier with a single 8" speaker/woofer, and a dome tweeter. For someone starting out, who wants to practice their drum licks without waking up the neighborhood it is really good. The redeeming factor is that as a standalone drum kit when plugged into headphones it really rocks. Good solid sounds, evenly balanced all across the spectrum. When unplugged, and parents are going to love this while the student learns, there is no high-volume setting. Even with the volume knob set all the way to 10 the volume is very demure, yet when used with the headphone output, it totally rocks. What that means is your up-and-coming drummer is going to want to get lost in world of sound using headphones. This is connectable to a DAW via USB/MIDI. That means you can plug it into any digital audio workstation running Pro Tools, Cakewalk, etc. and have more control over everything. That way instead of pre-sets you can plug into Superior Drummer and more, and get the exact sound you need. So, it makes a great MIDI trigger. It is built well, very solid, and the pads should last a good long time. I like the way they are laid out.

I bought this as a gift so I'm not a drummer but I play the bass and I love all music. The drum samples sound great and the built in speakers delivers this sound well. While I have only fooled around with it I think the responsiveness and the pad action adjust ability will make a great trainer for anyone learning

Drum were better than described. And great folks to deal with.
Thanks Donner

Awesome product! Perfect for my music jams with friends! No, this is not a toy. This is a great music-making piece of equipment. It has a lot of sound settings, the sound quality is great, and it's built quite sturdily.

I ordered this for my daughter who wanted a drum set for Christmas. My friend has one and highly recommended this. Also, seller shipped quickly so it arrived earlier than estimated arrival time. If you are looking for a nice drum set that can be tucked away when needed this is it.

Sounds Good! Enjoy.

We gave this to our 5yr old son and he couldn't be happier. The only xmas gift that is still being played with. I was a drummer from back in the day and it really is a lot of fun to see my son responding to these so quickly. I'm sure this could be used for a professional setting but can't comment on that. We researched all the cheaper models and rather than waste money on something that had bad reviews, we decided to step it up in order to have a better quality device. and i have to say it paid off!

It takes up very little room and does exactly what is made for. I like it well enough , I use it in the limited room I have for it & it is totally portable. It is more flexible than several others I have seen.

Headphones work great. All the pads work perfect no matter where you hit them on the pad. For the price n all its features. it is deff a keeper..
Ben
A really nice piece of equipment, highly recommend!
Caldes
You would think for the price you were purchasing an average childs toy at best, however dont be fooled. These units have so many features and have all the features of the units sold by others for a lot more money. It is definately beyond the level of being and has the ability to make some nice sound with accurate response.

This is a very easy-to-handle gem among the same type of items that have become prominent in the market since a while ago.
It is a gem that hits the middle of the pack, where a bulky electronic drum set is too cumbersome to handle and a cheap one is not enough.
It is light enough to be handled even in a laptop environment, compact and small, plus it supports MIDI input and other useful functions.
Arvallo
It is not so comfortable to play, but if you just want to play it when you feel like it in your daily life, this will suffice.
Although it has a certain size, it is definitely easier to handle than drums.
This is not for beginners, but for those who can play to some extent and are inspired by the sound.
On the other hand, this is only a sound board, so it is not so easy for a beginner to get good at it.
Copterguy
I just started playing drums and have only been practicing on a drum pad, I'm a beginner!
I play drums just for fun, but they also provide a change of pace and stress relief!
This electronic drum can be placed on my desk at home and does not take up much space.
If you use headphones, you can practice at home without worrying about the time because the sound doesn't bother other people.
The best part is that they are inexpensive compared to full-fledged drums!
And it doesn't take up much space and weighs only about 5 kg, so it's easy to carry around.
I am very satisfied with the product.

Although they are categorized as electronic drums, they are not the same thing.
If it is said that it is good for practice, it is good if you are an advanced drummer with a solid image, but if you are a beginner, there are parts that are difficult to handle.
On the other hand, if you have a solid image of drumming to some extent, you can easily put it on your desk for practice, and it is easy to store, so I think it will be a good item.
The muffling performance is quite high, and at worst, it can be used with hand drums, so I think this is a good choice. I think so.
I'm used to drumming to some degree, but a whole set of electronic drums is in the way and my family won't let me! It's just right for people like that.
Tim Moore
I am a complete beginner.
I put it on the OA disk where I usually keep my PC and use it as a distraction.
I have only touched real drums a couple of times, so I can't compare it to anything, but it's like playing a rhythm game, and it's a lot of fun!
The sound quality is amazing and not cheap sounding.
I thought it would be easier to play if the drum section was inclined toward the player.
I wish the drum section was tilted toward the player to make it easier to play, but I guess that can't be helped in order to make it more compact.
If you have children, I think they will enjoy it with you.
johnny bass
I thought it was quite big, but it's big enough to fit on a desk, and there's a dent on the bottom that allows you to attach some kind of frame.
The drum surface space is small and the frame is large.
If you look closely, there is a speaker in the pattern, and you can feel the "sound from the place you hit" from there.
MIDI input is also possible, and it is recommended for people who are typing MIDI as a hobby like themselves.
There is also a hand drum mode if sticks are likely to cause noise problems.
It reacts when you touch it lightly.
Gently tap the stick and hand, and tap hard to adjust the strength and weakness of the sound.
TechBro0451
An electronic drum set that comes with 2 pedals and a stick so you can play it right away.
I've tapped a set-type electronic drum at a friend's house before, but I've never touched a tabletop like this.
As a frank impression, it can be used without discomfort even when hitting with a stick or hand play with hands.
Honestly, the quietness of the pads is not that high (although it is different from ordinary drums, of course), so even if you hit them with headphones in the middle of the night, you can still get a decent sound.
The speaker of the main unit has a decent amount of sample sound sources, and I think it has general functions such as connecting and recording original sound sources.
You can use it at home via a power adapter, but you can also use a single battery separately, so you can have a light session even when you are out and about without a power supply.
It weighs about 5 kg, so it's not that heavy, but even though it's compact, it still has a decent sense of oppression and presence.
For those who want to start playing drums, or who have just started but want to practice at home more easily, I think that such electronic drums are one of the options from the viewpoint of the residential environment. (Because there are times when you can't enter the studio)
In such a case, I think there are some candidates for purchase, but honestly, I have the impression that they are all similar in terms of functionality, so it is better to choose the size and design. I wonder if.

We just got them, today. We just played with them for a while, after dinner. They are really easy to set up, out of the box. I have not been able to even get to the instructions yet. I did see that you need to plug things in, before you turn them on. .. I got that far. I have not explored what all I can do with them; but I am super impressed with them, right out of the box. My husband is also, super impressed with them.

I have to confess, I didn't have high hopes for this electronic drum kit for reasons I won't go into here, so I was pleasantly surprised at its full, realistic sound, highly response (and velocity-sensitive) pads, and customization options. It's quite portable, too, making it a nice option for impromptu jams with friends.
There is no real setup to speak of. Just plug it in and you're ready to go. (The power cable is very short, so you may been an extension cord depending on your setup. Alternatively, it takes batteries.)
The pads have a great, reactive bounce to them, making it way easier and more natural feeling to do drums rolls and the like. Same with fills. I was dashing out effortless triplets right away. It feels great to play.
The body is plastic and feels pretty durable, though I wouldn't beat it up. Buttons and dials are all response, easy to use, and clearly marked. The interface is very good, a marked improvement to a MIDI drum pad I recently tried by this same manufacturer.
The various kits generally sound good, with traditional rock drums the most real and natural sounding. Some are a bit lacking, such as its 808 simulation, but for the most part it sounds really good. You can do some customization, too, tapping into a pretty solid library of additional sounds.
The volume isn't particular loud, so if you plan to play with others you'll need some external speakers, but that's to be expected.
It's got MIDI support, which is a GREAT feature, and you can even plug it into your PC and play drumming games with it. Great stuff!
Though you can get fold-out pad-style electronic drum kits for a fraction of the price, they neither sound nor feel nearly as good as this. This is a nice middle ground between them and larger, more expensive full electronic drum kits.
Overall, this is a great little kit perfect for beginners or someone who wants an easy way to practice without needing a full kit. I'll certainly be using it to create beats in my DAW.
Andrew
They came with everything you need to play! The speakers are amazing, you do not need to try to find an amp for drums. It looks as if there is still so much more for me to explore! It is exactly what I needed! They do not take up more space than I have. They sound so much better than my last drum kit, they take up less space, and they have awesome speakers!

Very nice quality, well-made and super sturdy electric drum set. Has tons of functions, easy to figure out and learn. But also comes with an easy to understand manual that walks you through it all. Possibilities are endless with this, the sound is crystal clear and super sharp. It is a lot of fun to play. Can’t wait to learn more every day. Very good price, highly recommend.

Most Awesome Drum Kit That I have had to Play With…
I am not a serious musician, I just love percussions and like have a set to play with.
I am over joyed with this Drum Kit. I can easily set it up where I want to play it. I can play without needing headphones. I can use them to record little silly songs. The sound is amazing for what they are.
There are some awesome presets, and it looks as if I have more options.
