The donner ddp 300 was everything I hoped it would be and more. I grew up playing an old upright grand. I can't afford, nor do I want to deal with moving an acoustic piano, so after much research I chose this one. The graded/weighted keys feel marvelous to the touch, the sound is rich and personal, and I can make the kids plug in the headphones while they play! It continues to impress my guests, and you just can't beat it for the price.
Highly recommend

I was surprised in a good way and very happy with this product. I like the sound and the look. This electronic piano works very well for me.

So far, I love this instrument! It is beautifully designed, a striking addition to the room, and very easy to set up, and it has a great sound and many functions. It came quickly after I ordered---within just a few days it was at my front door. The dear UPS man even brought it inside our front hall for us (the box was heavy!), saying that this was the first time he had delivered a piano, lol. It came well-packed and in excellent shape. My twelve-year-old granddaughter helped me with the set up and we immediately sat down to play! If it continues to perform as it is right now, I will be the happiest piano owner on earth! It is set up in my library/music room, and the acoustic piano that I have is in the living room. There will be plenty of beautiful music in this house as we learn and play! We own several Donner instruments and have yet to be disappointed.

I grew up playing on a Steinway grand and a Baldwin baby-grand. Life took over after college and I didn't play for 15 years. About 10 years ago I bought a used upright and enjoyed playing it for fun while my youngest daughter learned how to play. I recently moved and couldn't bring the heavy upright so I did so much research on a lighter piano that would feel and sound like what I am used to. This Donner piano blew my expectations away. I assembled it by myself albeit it is quite heavy to move in the shipping box. It has very similar weighted keys and the sound is exceptional. It's a bit shorter in height than I am used to but fits in the small area I have. I highly recommend it!

This is an absolute perfect piano for the price! The keys feel exactly like a real grand!! However, when you go to hit the same key two or three times fast, it has trouble letting the noise ring! Other than that, this piano is perfect!

I received this piano for my birthday. I'm 67 years young and wanted a hobby that would allow me to exercise my mind. I love, love love it. It plays (the touch) just like the upright I originally learned on. Sound quality is fantastic. It's small size allowed us to fit it in our smaller retirement home. I couldn't be happier. Now, if I can only (re)learn to play like I did in my younger days. Alas.

We were anxiously waiting for it to be back in stock. So happy with this piano! Amazing! We love it!

I've been looking for a piano, but don't have much room and a limited budget. I was looking for something small in size but a full, 88 key unit. I came across Donner and thought I would give them a try. My Donner DDP-300 Digital Piano 88 Key Weighted Keyboard arrived very quickly after ordering. It was well packed and secured in the box. I put it together by myself in about 20 minutes. Very simple and easy to follow instructions. The weighted keys are great and it sounds wonderful! The warranty is a plus as well. I would recommend this product.

Very happy that the new member of the family, our ddp-300. It is so easy to install that even my 5 year old grandson helped with the installation.
Excellent sound and easy setup

I am very happy with my Donner 300. It almost feels like real acoustic piano to me.
Absolutely love it. I have lost track of time playing. Thank you!

Great sound at an amazing price ! Very easy to assemble. I had to purchase the bench separately.
We received it in perfect condition - nothing was broken.

I've played the piano for over 20 years. I needed a new one and decided on this model. I didn't need any fancy settings like so many seem to have. I just wanted nice, weighted keys, a good sound, and a sustain pedal. All of my expectations were met with this! It looks very nice. I even checked it with a tuner and the sound was right on! I am glad I went with this one!

We bought this as a present for our daughter and granddaughter, and put it together for them. Everything was in good shape, and it was very easy to put together. It is their starter piano, but my husband has played for years. He and I agree that the sounds this produces are well rounded, and the ability to practice with earphones on so the rest of the house won't have to listen is a real bonus for beginners. Plus, you can "split" the keyboard so a teacher and student can play in the same octaves simultaneously. Not having to pay for regular tunings will also save our daughter money. It's nice to be able to gift something that won't cause the recipient more money in upkeep.

Gosh, this thing is delightful. I studied piano for a decade in my youth and decided to start relearning it as an adult. Because I spent so many years playing an acoustic upright piano, finding one that really *felt* like a proper piano was my #1 concern, and this one truly hits the mark. It makes the distinction between a "keyboard" and an "electric piano" very clear... this one absolutely falls into the latter category. It's definitely not the most portable option out there, but that wasn't a priority for me, as it will basically only move when I buy a house in a few years. Rather, having a substantial stand attached to it-- with all three pedals built in, no less-- vastly enhances both the feel and the appearance, even if it forces you to sacrifice some of its portability. Setup was super straightforward and only required a Phillips head screwdriver and a second pair of hands to help lift; it took less than 30 minutes and inspired zero frustration. The "wood" has a bit of an IKEA quality to it (so, a little chintzy), but it's only noticeable during assembly and the thing looks totally legit once put together. The sound is crisp and clear and delightfully authentic-sounding. Given that I've had a long time off from playing, also, I am very appreciative of the key weighting being adjustable and am finding it more comfortable to play on the lighter setting. I would absolutely recommend this instrument, for both beginners and experienced players alike, to anyone who wants the look and feel of a real piano but without paying thousands of dollars and having to hire movers and retune it every time you relocate.

I purchased this to replace an old traditional console piano that was beyond repair and was too heavy to easily move around in my small living room. I was worried that it would not compare to a real piano sound and feel and would just feel like a big keyboard. BUT I was so surprised to find that it sounds amazing and has a real piano feel. I’ve played for 30+ years and I’m loving this one. My daughter is a beginner and loves it too. The headphone jack is a plus for practicing without disturbing anyone.

Great service. At first I wasn’t so sure since I didn’t receive a delivery estimate upon purchasing but I emailed the company and the quickly responded with a date and tracking number. The digital piano came 2 days earlier than expected and was packed very well with no damages. My item was easy to put together and seems nice. The box is very heavy and I had to drag it in or if you have help two people can easily move it. I had to use my own screw driver so have one handy if you get the piano with the legs. I would recommend this to anybody who needs a digital piano.

I bought the piano for my wife. She's played since she was a little girl. She says that it feels like a real, full-size, analog piano when she sits and plays it. The sound is great and clear. The keys are weighted to feel like an analog piano. We're very happy with this piano.
It was easy to assemble and setup. The packaging was good. No complaints about that.
Kirandeep K.
I like everything about the piano. I have only one issue, the buttons do not work all the time. I have to try at least twice to make them work. The power button in particular.
Jason S.
This is an excellent and economical choice on par with a Yamaha or a Roland as far as feel and sound ,that being said this being an economical choice and the company is a relatively new company there are a couple tweaks that could be made the quality of the build material is decent but could be better some of the functions are on the consul and some are keyboard activated I would like to see more on the consul but overall this is a fantastic above par product and would highly recommend it (do not spend thousands this piano will satisfy all your needs for a fraction of the price) !!!!

Ordered the DDP 300, order was filled promptly and shipped within 2-3 days. It arrived a couple of day afterwards. Everything was in good condition and assembled easily. The main top component is a bit heavy and was a bit of struggle to lift it myself (at 65 yrs of age, that's probably understandable). It plays well, ok , it's not grand piano, but the sound is very good. It's pretty close to playing a regular piano, a slight difference in the key touch but still plays smoothly. My 9yr old son loves it which makes me happy too. They kids enjoy learning to play and it's been a welcome addition to our home. I haven't had any issues with it, although I've only had it a month. Nonetheless, I wouldn't hesitate to order from Donner again.

I love my new Donner 300 keyboard. I was skeptical at the fact they said the fully weighted keys played as of a grand piano but after reading many reviews I thought I’d give it a try. Wow was I shocked to play the first bite when I had it fully assembled. It was just like they had said. It felt just like the acoustical piano I used to have that ive missed so much since getting rid of it 4-5 years ago. Donner 300 is a great keyboard & love love love the feel of playing it. Best money I have spent for any keyboard u could ask for. I enjoy it everyday & still amazed at the feel of it being like a grand piano. Buy Donner u can’t go wrong.
Gaven M.
The sound is excellent and worth every dollar! The only “bad” thing I can say about it is structure the keyboard rests on. The brackets were extremely bent, the heel on the right side was completely loose and needed wood glue and a clamp to fix it, and it was challenging to make everything flushed. So I’m short, awesome piano but poor/cheap base structure.

This is certainly a very well made product! The piano itself is of great quality, however I personally wasn’t quite satisfied with the sound. The notes sound slightly dulled and aren’t as “vibrant” per se. It really just doesn’t sound like a grand piano. I will be keeping it but it will take some getting used to.
Gus R.
I love my Donner DDP-300. The key weight and action are ideal. I sometimes forget I'm not playing my acoustic piano. Great sound, easy to assemble. Very happy with my purchase.

The Donner DDP-300 digital piano brings the quality you’ve come to expect at the price point that has made Donner’s place in the market.
Pros: the build quality is always impressive. The laminate looks great, this is a piece that you could feel proud to have displayed in your living room. The wide top allows for decor or more practical uses like a laptop or a place to put a drink (with coaster of course!). Set up was very simple, took me about 15 minutes to do it by myself.
The keys themselves are good, not great, but good. The hammer action is a step up from a semi or fully weighted keyboard, but of course because of the price is not at the level of a Nord or high quality Korg, Yamaha, Roland, etc. and their Hammer action. The pedals all work great and also have a decent feel to them as they offer more resistance than a basic sustain pedal.
The sound is something I had to warm up to. Perhaps I set too high of expectations initially so when I first played it I was actually disappointed. But within a day of playing around with the Piano I’ve come to appreciate its Grand Piano and Bright Piano timbres. They both have a full richness that I’ve come to enjoy. *see video for more*
The piano’s connectivity of USB and Bluetooth are great for any recording projects you desire.
Cons: My first major disappointment was the power supply to see a Wallwart in the box, despite the manual showing differently. This great shortens the plug distance and Wallwarts just take up too much space.
Aside from the piano sounds, the other timbres leave much to be desired. This is typical in pianos like this, and isn’t surprising, but alway a little disappointing to hear poor organs, strings and the likes.
The internal speakers are not great. They do the job but are a point of improvement for future models.
Overall: despite its flaws, the Donner DDP-300 digital piano brings an attractive and functional piano to your home. At this price point you are getting an instrument that a beginner or amateur would be happy to play on. Even more higher skilled pianist who prefer a Grand piano may be happy with this in their home. My family are glad to have this instrument in our living room to fill the house with music, while being an attractive piece of furniture.

There isn't anything else I could think for a gift to my boy on his birthday. He's always been into a music so I thought it is a right time to have him a piano for his birthday gift and I am glad that he loved this gift and can't wait to see him on a stage.
It is a bit in high range in terms of pricing but also justify the quality of work that has been put to make it happen. 88 keys 12V digital and rich in sounds supported by 20W speakers. It has GHS weight technology which gives a feeling of a orthodox grand piano played by professionals.
It supports bluetooth, aux and USB output and has cool LED lights around the keys and on the pedals which kind a gives stunning looks. Dark wooden finished body and cover to protect keys.
It definitely helps to beginners as it has preset tones and function to guide the learners through their lessons. Double keyboard helps to practice it with masters and to get real time experiences. Really enjoying his new toy and I believe he will make the most out of it.
Worth purchased gift ever and recommend it for beginners...

Je suis pianiste depuis plus de 25 ans ,je suis impressionné par la qualité du son et de la touche de ce piano .si on le compare aux autres modele de sa catégorie chez Roland ou Yamaha ce piano numérique coûte moitié du prix.

State of art piece! Perfect size for Condo. I'm so pleased . When you press the keys they are like a real one and the it's sound is wonderful. This is the key part I was looking for in a digital pinao. I also love the touch of the wood. Smooth and kind of a marron tone. My boyfriend installed it in 20 minutes but even me can understand how to put it together without checking the instructions. I highly recommend it!!!

I have an upright piano but 2 piano players in the house. Got this digital piano for my 2 piano player so they can practice at the same time. The piano was packed very well in the package and easy to assemble. At first I worried the key might be too light just like a keyboard, but surprisely my kids said the keys are actually slightly heavier than our upright piano! My kids also love the recording function, so they can record their practice then listen and listen again. The sound is not bad either, I wouldn’t say it’s compatible with a real piano, but it’s definitely better than keyboards or beginner level digital pianos.

When my daughter starting taking piano lessons on her own accord I knew it was time to step up from the plastic keyboard she had. We had always wanted a piano with weighted keys and wanted to go the electric route to avoid an old, out tune giant paperweight that traditional pianos can be. I didn't time it but I would say it took me between a half hour and 45 minutes to get the piano set up completely.
Flipped it on in there it was, beautiful sound with weighted keys! I like the fact that you can use headphones and that there is a volume control because we have a household of three beginners. Will mainly using it with the grand piano sound, but the other options are fun. Especially love the bass, it sounds amazingly like an upright bass! They built-in metronome will be of much use to us as well. I look forward to exploring all of the things this instrument can do and those options are laid out well in the manual. In addition to it being a fine instrument, It is an asthetically pleasing addition to our living room. Recommended.

I love it because I can play it late in the evening when my kids are sleeping and not be scared to wake them up. It sounds like a real piano.

Great product. Easy to assemble. Started my kids in piano lessons. We don’t have a lot of room in our home so we started with just a keyboard then when they had learned enough to need the sensitivity of soft and loud we decided we needed an upgrade. We looked into pianos and different brands of weighted keyboards. This one seemed really promising after reading the reviews. I recommend putting the main keyboard on the stand with 2 people Because its long and semi heavy so you don’t ruin something. Overall I love it and don’t regret my purchase at all. The price was perfect. The only things I wish were different is the panel on the back I wish went up the whole back to hide the cords and then the key weight seems to be a little heavier than actual regular pianos but I figured it would help strengthen my kids fingers. Sound is great and the ease of not having to lug a piano up our split level house stairs was sooo worth every penny. We can move it into any room without a moving crew haha. It does have a spot in our family room that it will stay in though.

The piano is great quality and I found no defects with the wood, so it looks very nice as a furniture piece. The volume is great since it goes from extremely quiet to very loud, for if I just want to play for myself or other people in another room. The weighted keys feel pretty good, but the texture of the black keys is quite off from an actual piano. My one big problem with it is that I can hear the keys being pressed even with the volume up loud, but only on the higher pitched keys (about the whole right side of the piano). It doesn't bother me too much but it's glaringly obvious in recordings. It sounds amazing overall and I highly recommend for anything thinking about getting a digital piano.

Very Good, I bought this for my 8 Years old son. He and his music teacher like very much this product.
Arrielle H.
My son loved his new piano when he first got it, but sadly a mishap damaged the piano after he had only played it for a few minutes! We have been in contact with Donner to try to get the information of an authorized repair agent, but Donner is not responding to our emails! Sadly, we will probably have to take it for repairs to a non-Donner authorized repairman, thus voiding the warranty. If only Donner would have responded to our emails and sent us the information!

As a music lover, I bought an electric piano for my own pleasure. The DDP-300 is a so beautiful model with very good tune and nice touch. The price is quite reasonable. It completely meets my needs. I play it two time almost every day.Thank you Donner!

This is a good quality piano and my son loves it. Playing in this piano is like playing on a grand piano. I'm so happy I got this piano for my 12 years old kid who is taking piano classes. This is very easy to assemble. I recommend this purchase.

This piano is really good and sounds wonderul. But it has delivery issue. Mine has two big cracks on left leg and back panel.

I had had a more expensive digital piano until last year when I had to sell it to pay some unexpected bills. I finally could take it no longer and bought this one, hoping it would be acceptable. For the price I am pleasantly surprised. It was packaged super well with everything wrapped securely. It went together in 15 minutes tops, so easy. It’s solid, very attractive. With my sound cancelling headphones on it sounds absolutely amazing, especially for the price. My only “complaint” is that the keys are very tight and require more effort to push than I like. That is a personal taste thing though. Others might find that to be totally fine. I find it takes away from the pleasantness of playing it, but others may like it. Overall though I really like it almost as much as my previous digital that was twoce the price. I think the sound is even better than the much higher one. I don’t think you can go wrong with this piano.

the piano looks and feels great, and is a joy to play, perfect for living-room practice. the default grand piano voicing sounds really good and convincing via the build in speakers, volume is good. headphones, line out, usb-midi, and even Bluetooth midi provide sufficient connectivity options.
the base integrates 3 pedals, that connect with a cable to the piano. A separate (not included) sustain pedal can also be connected. another reviewer had an issue with the pedal cable - mine was fine, everything worked out of the box without issue.
the stand and key cover have a nice black finish that looks like wood and has beautiful structure.
the adjustable weighted keys feel natural, heavier on the lower keys and light on the heights. the included demo songs can be played in a loop, and one song can be recorded while playing into the piano's memory. aside from a handful of voicings there's a reverb effect, and the tuning can be adjusted +/- 25Hz to match other instruments.
the piano comes in a big heavy box - handle with care. all parts are securely wrapped, and assembling the stand is easy, very much like putting together a shelf. the piano itself is heavy, and Donner recommends 2 people for setting it up.
beautiful true sounding piano with weighted keys, excellent connectivity - perfect for practice and recording - recommended!
Shane
Excellent instrument to have in the house. I'm super impressed with the weight and feel of the keys - they feel very much like a piano. There's a 1/4" headphone jack if you want to play without bothering the rest of the house (which is a huge advantage over having an upright piano in the house). This can also act as a MIDI controller using the USB output or Bluetooth if you like to record on your computer (which I do). This instrument is perfect for learning and practicing. Everyone in the house is stoked on this thing.

This is a really nice electric piano with some really fun and useful features and I would certainly recommend, especially for the price.
TL;DR: Action and tone are very good; assembly is simple as can be; features are exceptional; volume button very weak/wobbly; no bench included. Overall would highly recommend.
Assembly:
It took no time at all to assemble, I think I spent 20 mins doing it myself. You can do it as one person fairly easily, but when attaching the top keyboard part to the stand it is helpful to have another person so you can line it up easier and not scratch the finish. As an adult man, it was manageable to lift the keyboard part but it was definitely heavy.
Tone:
Tone is pretty great overall; the speakers sound like good quality. It sounds good plugged in to headphones and midi recording into GarageBand sounded great too. I’m not a huge fan of the different “voicings” on any electric piano, but these ones seemed fine. The electric piano setting was pretty good - I did notice when you selected the “rock organ” setting, it was significantly louder, without moving the volume dial. Some good options for reverb and note transposing as well which are nice.
Quality:
This is a good heavy piano and the quality seems really good with a couple exceptions (they may be just issues with my particular piano, but just FYI).
1) a few of the “C” keys will stay depressed if you press very hard. I don’t ever play with that much force so is not an issue for me. 2) The volume dial is extremely wobbly/loose-feeling. It’s not a component that should get a tone of wear, but even so I have a hard time seeing it as being really durable for long term. 3) I received in great condition, but there is a “crack” in the Donner logo on the music stand (see picture). Not a huge deal but a bit of an eye sore.
Features:
This is where this piano shines (in addition to the great tone and action); to get many of the following really cool features/functions you typically spend much more. Some key features (* means it’s one of my favorite features)
-“teacher mode” split keyboard for duplicate tones
-Bluetooth MIDI connection (for recording into music program)**
-Nice reverb options*
-Various keyboard voicings (piano, strings, organ, etc.)
-Auto-off function after 30 minutes of inactivity
-Transposing notes
TL;DR: Action and tone are very good; assembly is simple as can be; features are exceptional; volume button very weak/wobbly; no bench included. Overall would highly recommend.

I was looking for a good digital piano that my wife and I could learn on and play for years to come. We like the options of sounds of the DPP-300 because we like a variety of genres. This piano offers Grande Piano, Brite Piano, Electric, Piano, Harpsichord, Rock Organ, Church Organ, Strings, Guitar, Bass, and Pad. The sound is very good through the surround sound speakers. The DDP-300 arrived in a well-packed box so that was no damage to the piano. It was simple to assemble. It has a protective cover for the keys that opens and closes easily. We are finding the detailed user manual easy to follow for using the different options and features. The music stands holds our tables and phones well, and we are able to connect them to the piano’s Bluetooth and use the available software to work on our lessons. We are also finding the control panel above the keys user-friendly. I tried the audio out connection on the back of the piano with my mixer and PA system, and I am pleased with the sound that comes through the additional speakers. We also tried the headphone connection, which works well. We are very pleased with the piano.

Just got this delivered and set up was really easy. Took about 20 minutes total. Started playing around on it and the sound is really good. Has several different sound options including Organ, synth, and even has demo mode. Got this for me and my son to learn on together. Good by for our first time piano, or a small piano to have around the house. Looking forward to learning on this!
