Big fan of donner, and their products. I’ve never had an issue with the quality of any of the electronics/instruments that I’ve purchased.
That being said I’ve bought 3 sets of the acoustic squares at different times and the quality has varied greatly. It’s never been less quality than what I feel I paid for, but one of the sets I received was far superior in quality to the most recent one.

I built a small studio for podcasts and these foam squares work perfectly in absorbing sound. I can tell a big different one recordings and just talking in the room. These are very affordable and worth the small investment. One thing to keep in mind is when you unpack them, if they don’t fluff up on their own just immerse them in water, ring them out, and let them dry. They will fluff up and be ready to use.

I got a bucked of water and soaked each one and squeezed water out and let dry. Letting it just sit for 24 hours didnt do the trick but once you soak it they take shape. Bought more for my garage.

The squares come packed in really tight, so the water method was the best way I found. Some of them are packed in more than others so I had to massage them in the water for longer to get them to fill out. None of the squares I ordered had any blemishes and they were all uniformly the same. Worked great for what I needed it to. 10/10

I saw this offer for acoustic treatment material at a great price so I made the leap and ordered a 50 piece set to try out. I couldn’t be more pleased. Very fast shipping! After arrival, I followed the instructions to reconstitute the foam’s thickness and shape as it is sent in a compressed form to save shipping space. All 50 12x12 panels returned to their original shape and thickness with ease. I have since ordered another 50 and will need more to complete my project. Great product at under $1.00 a square foot is unbeatable. My only suggestion would be a color assortment. This would make these foam panels the absolute “go to” for acoustic treatment.

The price was great for the amount of panels. I had expected them to be solid or more rigid so they hold their shape but they were more flimsy than expected. I had ordered panels from another company and they were rigid. I had the same expectation with these.

Da ich in meinem Büro leider nicht so tolle Klangverhältnisse habe, aber dort regelmäßig im Discord/Teamspeak/Skype mit Leuten reden muss oder auch mal laut Musik höre, musste eine Schalldämmung her. Die Schaumstoffmatten wurde dicht und gut verpackt geliefert. Wie der Hersteller auch beschrieben hat, muss man sich nach dem Auspacken noch etwas Arbeit machen. Man muss halt alles einmal richtig auswaschen und zum trocknen hinlegen (am besten auf eine ebene Fläche, da sonst die Form verändert wird). Ich habe diese draußen in die Sonne gelegt. Dadurch konnte alles ablüften und schnell trocknen. Drinnen riecht es zwar anfangs trotzdem noch leicht, jedoch geht es nach und nach weg. Auch die Schallabsorbtion funktioniert bei richtiger Anordnung gut.

This stuff is like the barest minimum you could sell as acoustic foam. Maybe it's an inch thick? It's extremely flimsy. The corners are super inconsistent and warped because it's so insubstantial. I am going to try mounting it to another substrate to make it useful at all. I would not buy it again.

The tiles are delivered in vacuum sealed bags and are supposed to expand to full thickness in about 24 hours. This does not happen. You will have to soak them in water, compress each one until the water can permeate it entirely, squeeze as much out as possible, then leave to dry or stick a few at a time in a clothes dryer. If you are ordering a lot of them, this can take a while. But after that, they are as described. Not the greatest acoustic tiles out there but good enough for most home applications.

I have my theater with an acoustic transparent screen under my stairs in the basement. It's not ideal as a cement floor and wall made things echo a ton. These made a huge difference to any echo and just enough to fill that area and use some in the room as well. I am getting ready to order another set. These do smell are somewhat thin but do the job. You cannot beat the price and yes you have to unfold them and let them expand over a few days.

Unpacked they were like placemats. It took several days for the tech staff to offer a solution which was to soak and dry with a hair dryer. I put them in the bathtub, and then dried them in the dryer on medium heat. The technique worked just fine and was a lot less time consuming than drying with a hair dryer.

Thinner than expected. Most adhesives have trouble with it, but I have found just straight up gluing it to a board works great. Great deal for the price. They do have a stink, so maybe let them air out a bit.

I never got any adhesive for these. They also did not reinflate at all from leaving out for 24 hours. Had to soak them and dry out to get them back to a usable state and a handful of the panels still didn't puff back up correctly. Overall they're mostly usable, just be warned it's a bigger project to use them to start cause you will have to soak them.

These acoustic foam tiles are easy to work with. I used a spray adhesive to attach them to the cardboard, and hung that on the wall. They’re cut very precisely and fit together neatly.

Good deal, good product. They stick nice to cardboard with adhesive spray. I put on cardboard so i don't damage my walls or anything. Easy to make sections of 3x1 and place as needed.

At first I was very conflicted. Ordering 50 panels, I was disappointed when after 3 days, only 24 of them actually returned to their original shape.
Don't be discouraged if your panels don't expand over time. I had some panels that were so compressed, they were practically flat sheets. Soak them in water for a couple minutes, massage the corners if they're particularly stubborn, and even the flattest panels will return to form.
While I can't use spray adhesive as these wont be a permanent fixture, I decided to hang them using Command brand Poster Strips and they work great for apartments and other rented spaces. Strong hold, won't damage the walls, and the panels can be removed easily.
Very pleased with these and I'm looking forward to hanging up the rest and will likely purchase more in the future.

Es hat mit der Bestellung etwas länger gedauert als Normal Damit bin ich zufrieden aber, Innen bei der bestellung waren keine hälter bzw klebestreifen Um es zu kleben mit dabei. + die schaumstoff matten Riechen irgendwie komisch Und Stinken Sollte man ordentlich waschen, man sollte sprühkleber mit dazu kaufen Ansonsten klebt das nicht richtig ich habe es mit doppelseitigen kleber versucht Es klebt nicht richtig sollte man Ernsthaft Mit sprühkleber Versuchen zu kleben bestell ich demnächst Aber ansonsten zufrieden.

die waren komplett plattgedrückt als sie ankamen ich dachte mir .. oh nein ein fehlkauf.. aber es war ersichtlich das sie plattgedrückt wurden damit man mehr auf einmal verschicken kann deswegen war alles cool. man musste sie 1 tag ruhen lassen damit sie wieder in ihre ursprüngliche form zurück kommen. nach 24h waren sie genau so wie ich sie mir vorgestellt hatte. Die riechen ein wenig nach chemie, aber im großem und ganzem bin ich sehr beeindruckt für den preis.

Also zu allererst, wenn man die Anleitung durch liest , funktioniert auch alles. Lange genug liegen lassen und alle haben ihr volles Volumen erhalten. Zudem Geruch das es stark stinken soll, kann ich auch nicht bestätigen. Wenn man direkt dran riecht, ist es schon etwas unangenehm. Aber im Raum angebracht,rieche ich nix davon. Das einzige was schwierig ist es an zu kleben. Laut Beschreibung mit doppelseitigen Klebeband, hält überhaupt nicht. Haben es mit Silikon befestigt. Ansonsten zur Akustik top. Ich höre nichts mehr. Hab aber auch mehrere Wände voll

I love the design of the sound panels. They add a great sound proof feel to your echoey room. I will say they were a lot thinner than I expected. The worst thing is that the foam panels smell terrible once you get them out of the packaging. I advise rinsing them out with water before putting them in your room. The adhesive that you get with the panels are like cheap stickers. They couldn’t even hold a conversation let alone the panels to some dry wall. Buy some command strips and call it a day. All in all great sound panels but crappy adhesive.

Ich habe die Akustik Pannels für unser Büro gekauft. Da ich Hobby mäßig Musik Mixe, hat mich der Hall gestört. Nur ein Teppich hat leider nicht so viel gebracht. Ein paar der Matten an der Rückwand angebracht und schon wurde es deutlich besser. Die beigelegte klebe Streifen kleben schon fast zu gut. Man muss hinterher bestimmt drauf aufpassen nicht die Tapete mit abzuziehen. Sie absorbieren sehr gut Geräusche und Musik. Dadurch wirkt die Musik viel sauberer. Die Panels werden stark komprimiert geliefert. Ich habe sie dann in Wasser gelegt und danach getrocknet (so wie es in der Anleitung steht). Danach waren sie in ihrer eigentlichen Größe und blieben auch so.

Diese Materialien sind normalerweise von hoher Qualität, und genau das habe ich hier gefunden. Der Klang ist perfekt, sehr hilfreich bei der Akustik. Es gibt kein Brummen mehr und es gibt keine externen Geräusche beim Record.

It is really thick. It is intact and there are no tears anywhere. Soak it in water, dry it, and then air dry for about 12 hours. Thermally glue them all to the board (not using the supplied 3m tape). These are really well-made sound-absorbing foam panels. Downer left a deep impression on me.
