It worked to adjust intonation on my bass and gave a sharp/flat visual indication on the 12th fret octaves. For playing, it does not appear to change tone on the pass through and silences the bass when tuning mode is selected. Is easy to read and use.

I hope it last. It seems durable. I wish it was a little bit heavier but Velcro on a pedal board will fix it from moving. Not a problem. Just an observation. Lights up great. Haven’t used in sun light yet.

The tuner works very well but the red LEDs will burn your eyes out! I had to find a way to cover them to keep from burning my retinas, yet still have them show enough to work. Other than that, it's a great tuner at a great price.

Love it! It is great to know precisely what is running through my system rather than relying on external tuners. Have to mention the display on it is large, clear and bright. Works great with my Donner u bass to my 6 string bass. Very simple to use -- plug in your source and hit the switch! Small enough to use when needed, then disconnect and put it away.

Great affordable pedal tuner with good enough accuracy for everything but setups. The display is great and super bright and intuitive and can be read in all kinds of lighting conditions. Not much more to say, solid little tuner, does what it says it does, true bypass and the casing machining is probably the nicest on any of the donner products I own. I own 14 Donner pedals. Would recommend...clearly lol

Works well, like it the click when you engage the tuner, all metal construction. Only drawback is the led light is too bright. Other than that highly recommend and the price is right.

Loved the product but customer service is a bit out to lunch I accidentally put the wrong shipping address in for one of my petals and I emailed Donner immediately after the mistake and they were unable to send me my pedal and offered me 5% discount code after complaining they offered me 10% discount code Something that you can get off their site for free I will not be buying the new distortion pedal after I’ve already spent that money I will try another brand!

You get what you pay for ! You have to push the power plug tight and it will fall out so it works till you touch it a guitar pedal should never be that sensitive that it will just allow the power to fall out that’s crazy. If you wanna tape it to the pedal maybe it would work better I’d rather pay triple and get a real pedal I fell for the lower price if your serious pass on this .

Love the pedal and the price, came w/o a power supply. Thought that was ok, cause usually when a pedal comes w/o a wall wart, it'll plug into a standard pedalboard supply cable. Not with this one! So, another $20 and a little more aggro, hence the 4 star rating.

Not that accurate. I use it on my acoustic rig, but I find it results in a slightly out of tune guitar. My clip on tuner is more accurate.
Also, the LEDs are blinding! I actually put duct tape over the LEDs and they are just about right.

I really like the tuner with the exception of how bright the tuning lights are as you can see in the picture. I plan on putting some mesh tape over the lights to tone them down

This is a great tuner. It works well, and you won't break the bank because it is affordable. The box that it comes in is sturdy and it has a foam cutout that provides a snug fit to keep the pedal safe from damage. The build of the pedal is nice with metal construction. The only issue was that the power connection piece was a little bit loose. This did not affect how the pedal performed. I put it in line with another one of the pedals that I have, and when switched off, there is no extra noise produced by having the tuner in the setup (e.g. great true bypass). When turned on, the pedal mutes all other sound very well. When the guitar note you are trying to get to is achieved, the whole LED screen lights up green. The screen in and of itself is great. It is large and easy to see. I would absolutely recommend this tuner to anyone, even those who are not on a budget because it stands up to the best tuners. I had it hooked up to the Donner power supply, with which I have also been very pleased.

I really like my Donner DT-1 chromatic guitar pedal tuner. I use a very small pedal board, and the tuner pedal takes up very little room. The pedal’s bypass really works well; no signal interruption or change. When the pedal is engaged, the sound chain is silenced and the display is very easy to read. The pedal is accurate, as well. I do a lot of practicing to Spotify and YouTube files. And my tuning is spot on.
While I am at it; shout out to my Donner compression pedal as well. It gives me great tone and has the same small footprint. Also, Donner pricing always means a fantastic value to price ratio!

Well, not really. Some are easy to read, others not
Some are too sensitive, others not adequately so.
Some take up a lot of room on your board, others not.

It's not thé most precised on the place, but not thé worth! Fast reactivity, usefull double control system, for home or stage it's perfect. I compare it with a professional Seiko tuner i have.

Love this pedal! I've used clip on tuners for quite sometime. I would frequently forget to turn them off on stage or at practice then next time I picked up my guitar to tune it the tuner would be dead and I'd have to spring for new batteries. I've used this pedal everyday for half a year and still works just as great as the day I bought it. Love the fact that its mini and true bypass! It's super tiny so even if you're running short on room on your board like me you can still find a spot to throw it on there. You truly cannot beat a mini true bypass pedal at this cost! It's a no brainer! Highly recommend!

A good choice for tuner pedal
I compared this tuner to a Boss TU-2 and a TC-Electronic Polytune 2. Both of the other pedals are a little more sensitive than the Donner and the TC has a 9v power output to boot, but they are both lacking in a couple areas that the Donner excels at. Both other pedals are easily 3x the price, Both pedals are 2x the size, and the Boss isn't true bypass sucking a noticeable amount of treble from your tone.
I like how the entire screen turns green once your in tune, I like the aesthetics, the size, it takes a standard 9v input, the price, the true bypass circuitry and I like the click swtich which doesn't POP. If you are recording an album, I would say buy the TC for it's precise tuning, but if all you want is a tuner to use on stage, or as a hobbyist, I wouldn't necessarily prescribe spending so much on a tuner that's going to take up more space on your board. I like the Donner DT-1 and recommend it
