We had a used Casio that was acting up and couldn't be repaired. So to keep my kids going with their lessons I grab one of these pianos.
Went together easily. Sounds great with way more options than our Casio. Smaller footprint so it takes up less room than our old one. Keys feel like plastic rather than "ivory" but it isn't a genuine piano.

Best product out there; great for kids n adults, probably my favorite yet bc you can pair it with Donners electric drum kit and play it thru the piano as you play the piano. Better then any other piano out there. Order the notes letter stickers. We did and all our children took to playing from the book immediately

This keyboard is perfect for beginners! I live in a townhouse and love that it’s slim design also fits perfectly in my space. If I had any complaints, it would only be of the music stand. The angle it has prevents it from fitting flush against the wall, however it is easy to remove. Other than that, it’s perfect for a family of beginners!

My 11 yo son who is on the autism spectrum has taught himself to play the piano and wanted something other than a portable keyboard. I was not going to spend thousands of dollars on a full size piano as a birthday gift It sounds amazing and he feels like he is playing on a real upright piano! I've been playing this non-stop ever since I've received it. It's easy to use and set up, even though it comes with a stand, I chose not to use it without stand temporarily. So, here's my points:
- Bulky; both the piano and the stand feels sturdy, which is something I like.
- Semi-weighted keys; they are much better than non-weighted variants and you can feel the difference in intensity. Also there's a button to disable intensity.
- A small variety of instruments; it provides a selection of instruments, but my favorite thing about it is it supports dual voice, so you can use half of the keys as piano and the other half as the instrument of your choice.
- Metronome switch and record/play options take time to get used to, record skips the length of first note for some reason and changing the bpm of metronome takes time to understand.
- Wide range of music bases and genres, which is fun to improvise upon.
- Pedals; right pedal controls sustain, but I couldn't get the middle and left pedals to use for some reason. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt since trill, reverb and sustain switches are available on the keyboard.
Given the price and options, it's a good choice for a beginner piano with a stand. Considering the size and weight of it, the stand is important if you don't have an empty desk like me.

off it was simple to assemble. Took me about 20 minutes. The sound was absolutely amazing. Love the stereo speakers and the lush reverb.

I've been looking for a piano for awhile now and I luckily came upon this one. I'm impressed with my purchase the quality was beyond expectations for its pricing. It came in extremely well packaged and easy to assemble. The set up was very minimal only taking me and a friend about 20 minutes to set up. Moving on to the looks it is very sleek and minimal . Perfect sizing and can be moved with little effort to anywhere in your house . As far as the sound there is two speakers that sound really good and crisp. the volume quality is great and can be heard throughout the whole house. The piano is easy to use and can be great for beginners, but also great enough for those who are advanced. Overall recommend this piano for purchase. Happy with the amazing quality of my purchase.

Takeaway: I've had a number of Donner instruments over the years and always found them to be very good values for the money. This digital keyboard is no exception and I recommend it. Most importantly though, the kids love it : )

This digital piano has semi-weighted keys that are a very nice step up from most entry level keyboards. While still not fully mimicking the action of a traditional piano, they do a nice job or providing enough resistance to allow control and to vary the intensity of notes. I thought the piano did a nice job with this range of input intensity. The included 8 voices are fun to play, but the voice of a grand piano is the main feature and sounds great at mid volume.

Learning piano is fun. Everyone in our family enjoys learning piano together and having lots of good time since we got this digital piano. I am a beginner that just started learning and I don’t know much about piano. My friend recommended this one and I am glad that I spent a bit more to get this piano with furniture stand that all comes in one package. Saved me time to shop for a matching stand. The piano keyboard is heavy (not recommended if you look for a portable one). The furniture stand is solid and look good. The price is expensive for me as a beginner but I believe you get what you pay for. The quality totally worth the price. Very happy and satisfied. By the way, if you have a good budget, you can also buy the digital piano that has build in keyboard cover to protect your keyboard from dust.

DEP-10 from Donner made it possible to own a piano because the price is very affordable. It is actually an electronic piano with It is full sized with semi weighted keys that gives piano like feel with features of keyboard like metronome, drum beats plus background music. Now we are able to learn piano. Same item is available without the stand but I strongly recommend the one with stand because of sustain keys.

I decided to buy this semi weighted ( her bf said semi weighted is better than non weighted )

Came with simple and easy to assembly instructions
Took about 30 mins plus minus to assemble it.
It is well made and very sturdy

Not sure how well my gf is going to learn. We are waiting to get a stool so she can start her lessons.

We already own a piano, but my son wanted to have one in his room so that he could practice without making noise throughout the house. We gave it to him for Christmas and it has been wonderful. The piano is easy to assemble, very nice, and perfect for him to practice. We purchased some headphones to go with it and he loves it....so does the rest of the family. The keys are weighted and feel very close to the weight of our regular Cable piano. The sound is perfect. We are very glad that we bought it and do not regret it at all!

Directly after unboxing, I was naturally excited to play. I plugged it in.... crackles from the speakers. I thought it'd go away. Now fast forward 5 days.... I've emailed Donner 3 times with no reply.... Great customer service, NOT. When the piano works and doesn't have consistent crackling from the speakers, it's great. But not happy that they will not reply.

What a great sound from this electric piano. I am a guitar player (campfire, not professional) and I spent the first three nights learning chords, now I play every song o the piano that I play on the guitar! I love the fact that it also records two tracks, I use that feature and also mix in some preset drums, love the whole unit.

This was a fantastic buy! Purchased through amazon to get guaranteed delivery date (bummer on paying shipping, but required for this occasion - plus, while I *LOVE* the instrument, the company itself is less than stellar on communication and actually never got back to me on how shipping dates were looking - which was a huge bummer, almost went for another company because of that - and made me lose confidence enough that I wanted a guaranteed free return option, just in case). The build took me about a half hour, and might have been faster if there hadn't been an overly excited 11yo bouncing off that walls ;-). Said child immediately sat down and started playing beautiful music. I had a piano growing up, but we don't have the space for even a wall piano (condo), and I didn't want to spend that much, either. I would say, it's not at all required to spend money or space: the sound on this instrument is so good - rich and quite close to a 'real' piano. The keys are weighted 'enough', and while the weird angle the keys have is a bit off putting at first, it's ultimately not an issue. The only thing that I do think they should change is that flimsy music stand. There *has* to be a better way to secure that, even a way that you can secure it and still easily remove it - in fact, I'm sure there is a better way. But other than that, we are loving it and I highly recommend it!

Growing up, all my extended family had pianos and it was a nice way to enjoy time at the holidays together. It's with that thought that I got this Donner DEP-10 digital piano so my kids could start learning as well. The piano arrived packaged extremely well and took about 45 minutes to set up by myself (probably 20-25 with 2 people).
This digital piano has semi-weighted keys that are a very nice step up from most entry level keyboards. The 88 keys provided a wide range, and I'd definitely recommend it over a smaller 61 key. The piano is not very deep and this is a big selling point for me as it can comfortably fit in a narrow space without being overbearing. The stand with integrated pedals is wonderful and I would not consider a digital piano that didn't have this feature.
Cons: There is no digital screen for controlling voices, rhythms, transposition, etc. Some may see this as a drawback, but I found the controls straightforward once I'd read through the manual. The lack of a screen streamlines the look of the piano. As noted, this digital piano has semi-weighted and not full weighted keys. If these are important to you , Donner has a similar model the DEP-20 that, while costing more, would provide both.
Takeaway: I've had a number of Donner instruments over the years and always found them to be very good values for the money. This digital keyboard is no exception and I recommend it. Most importantly though, the kids love it : )
