The audio quality is ok for the price. The lows sound a little muddy and limited in sampling. The stand has some peeling of its surface lamentation and the soft close piston has stopped compressing causing the lid screws to pull out from the hinge. I half expected a little more based on the good reviews.

This has been a great purchase. We’ve always wanted a piano in the house but we never found a reason to purchase one. Our youngest child found an interest in piano and music making. We are a musical family and it was a treat to hear that my youngest wanted to play and learn. That was enough for us to go and splurge a little to finally get a piano that looked good was a bit more compact than an upright or grand and sounded really nice. It also feels really close to an acoustic piano and has a great sound. We are happy with this piano and its an instrument that I enjoy learning on along with my son.

Before my purchase I read a lot of feedbacks/reviews. There were several neg. ones mainly about damaged ones (shipping issues I think/hope). Mine arrived in excellent condition and looks like a new piano should. Highly recommend purchasing a Donner piano. The sound is great everything I expected. If you get a good deal on one Buy It.

I am very impressed with this piano for the price range! I did lots of research on Digital pianos before buying. I wanted a piano that sounded and felt like a real piano, but with out the maintenance that comes with it. Feels just like playing a real piano! It is very well made, easy to assemble and had fast shipping. I would diffantly recommed to someone learning to play, and doesn't want to invest a fortune.

I was looking for a piano to replicate a good, acoustic sound. Not interested in bells and whistles- though many Donner pianos have them. The 90 DDP is perfect for me.
My instrument came when expected, in good condition. It was relatively easy to assemble and attach the base.

The headphone jack is 3.5 mm; you will need a converter to 2.5 mm.

The product itself is a good product. My only complaint would be the shipping service that is used. UPS does not handle their packages with care received first piano damaged and broken but donner was apt to send me a replacement so I am great full for that. Overall experience with donner has been pleasant. Would highly highly recommend using a different courier though.

I was a little worried about how "realistic" this piano would sound and feel like because most of the reviews seemed to be focused on beginner pianists or people who have not played for very long. As an intermediate pianist who has played for almost 14 years I can say that this piano is EXCELLENT.
As other reviews have said, the keys offer more resistance than most of the real pianos I have played throughout my life, but I honestly think it has helped me be more intentional and build finger strength while maintaining delicacy. The sound is fantastic, and I never have to turn the volume up past halfway to get a full and satisfying sound in my apartment.
The sound is rich, the pedals are awesome, and the assembly was rather simple. I definitely would recommend especially for paying a low price considering the quality of the piano. It can never perfectly replicate a real piano, but this is an affordable and satisfying keyboard.

This digital piano was a nice surprise. I grew up with an acoustic and have had keyboards as well. This really has a great well rounded sound, key feel of an acoustic, and looks nice. I could do without the red outlining the pedals, but still very nice looking. Only downside is where you put the piano music...lip of holder is kind of short and not a very deep area and so it does not work super well with thicker piano books. Other than that though it was a great buy and also light and easy to move which was something I didn’t think I would care about, but I like that a lot.

My piano happened to be delivered on a rainy day. Fortunately, the box only got slightly damp instead of soaked from the rain, and even more fortunately everything inside the box was wrapped in plastic wrap and completely undamaged! There is a lot of foam in the box holding everything snug.

I've always wanted a piano but never thought I could afford it. I do not know how to play but find it is very soothing to pick out songs by ear so I can't give an expert opinion on the tone. I bought this because I didn't have to worry about tuning, humidity or temperature like a regular upright piano. It only took my husband and I less than half an hour to assemble it. It's also very compact which helps since I don't have a large area to place it. It looks great and sounds and feels like the old upright pianos I have played with in the past. Very happy!

I bought the 90 series for space saving but it doesn't really lack anything. The piano has excellent feel and the sound is nice. Its definitely loud enough for the home. I have mine hooked up 300w studio's so the sound is beautiful. The only thing I can see that needs improvement is the sheet music holder. The back is a bit short causing the papers to fold over but other than that it is worth every penny

The piano is great fun. However I have to say customer service has been very underwhelming. My piano arrived damaged. Not their fault. The back had a huge gash in it which does not affect the way the piano plays, but will certainly affect resale value. I paid $496.00 they offered me $30.00 to keep it as is. I don't feel that's reasonable. So I declined their offer, we'll see if they offer something different, or I ship it back to them.

I absolutely love this digital piano. It has beautiful sound, the keys feel like a real piano, and the look of it is gorgeous. Very, very happy with my purchase. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that it's lower than the standard piano. I am 6 ft tall so it's hard for me to play it with the pedals. Not a deal breaker but also may not be a forever piano.

I gave up my real piano years ago because we were moving a lot & it was just too hard to move. Got a keyboard. Am retired now with more time to play. Found I hated the sound & feel of the keyboard so I decided to try this digital piano. Love it! Wish I’d had it all my life. Sounds like a piano, the keys have the right feel of a piano, it’s easy to move around, & as an added bonus, I can use headphones so I don’t feel like I’m disturbing my husband. Easy to assemble. Would definitely recommend.

The piano was incredibly straightforward to assemble. But a little backstory before reviewing the piano. I am very much a beginner pianist so I have not been exposed to enough pianos to give a detailed comparison of a piano that is the gold standard to the Donner DDP-90. That being said this piano sounds very good to me. I gave it a 4 because using the built in speakers versus plugging headphones in reveals a noticeable difference in sound quality. Using the headphones sound better when comparing the sound from the built in speakers. It looks fantastic and feels great to play. Very good piano for a beginner such as myself.

I've been dreaming of buying a piano for some time, I played since I was 6, but then life, adulting, being a mom... Buying a grand piano or even an upright was outside the budget, so after a lot (and I mean, A LOT) of research, I decided to give this a try. I AM SO HAPPY that I did. The weighted keys, the full size, and the overall design make it feel like the real thing, the sound is amazing, and I absolutely love the ability to plug in the headphones and play after my little one's bedtime without disturbing her. I have played the piano for 58 years. I have played on concert grand pianos and small uprights. This keyboard feels like a "real" piano and allows me the ability to play with the expression I would on any instrument. The weighted keys don't let me cheat. The sound produced is equal to the force with which the keys are hit, which is very nice. The only draw back is that the damper doesn't hold like it would on a grand, but as a pianist it is my job to make the tones sound joined and sustained, something a young pianist is taught. The height is perfect. The full keyboard is great. I love this keyboard and would recommend to anyone who wants the feel and sound of a real piano.

I purchased this piano for my wife to replace her non-weighted keyboard. It was packaged well and arrived without a blemish. Assembly went very smoothly and only took about 30 minutes. The base is just 4 pieces: The legs, pedal bar, and a backboard and it goes together very easily. You may want to get a helper to lift the keyboard onto the base to save yourself some frustration and avoid dropping it. Donner also includes extra hardware in case you break or lose anything...
One thing to know up front is that this thing is heavy. It will take two people or a stair dolly to move the box up stairs. Also, the keys sit about 1 inch lower than our other keyboard (28 inches instead of 29, and a regular piano is 28.5).
The piano looks and sounds excellent: It has a more "professional" look than our other plastic keyboard. The lid is a nice touch to keep dust and grime off and out of the keys. Another nice touch is the lid support that keeps the lid from slamming shut. When you shut the lid, it slowly lowers eliminating the chance anyone smashes their fingers.
Overall, we are very happy with this piano. We get the real piano feel without the weight (or the need to tune) of an actual upright piano.
Since she is the piano player, my wife has some comments on the playability:
The black keys feel like real wooden piano keys. When playing, the white keys feel a little weightier than the pianos I've played more recently, but it's easy enough to get used to. The keyboard is a little lower than any keyboard or piano I've ever played on. However, if using a piano bench that is adjustable, that is easily fixed. Even without, the lower height isn't distracting. It's nice having a keyboard that has a fully functional soft pedal and sostenuto pedal (like an actual piano would have). While there are aspects that are not what I expected, I am impressed with the sound, overall size (width, especially) and the look of it.

This piano is more sophisticated than I expected. The keys are weighted so you can actually practice your technique like on a real piano. The sound is crisp, clear and can be controlled by the volume switch which doesn��t take much pace (so it feels more like a piano). It doesn��t have much more electric keyboard features, but I would recommend this to anyone who is looking to have a piano that��s just a piano. The pedals work great as well. The assembling takes 2 people, but the instructions are super easy to follow.

I bought this keyboard for my 13yo who just started piano lessons. It was recommended by his piano teacher. It was easy to assemble, and it sounds like a real piano. The keys are heavy duty like a real piano. They respond appropriately to pressing lightly or hard. There is a plug for headphones, but we need to order an adapter for him to use his headphones from his PlayStation. It has a stand for him to place his music books while playing. However, you will need to purchase a chair separately. Overall, we are pleased with the purchase. It seems to be a great value for the price.

This piano is honestly better than I expected. It feels just like a real piano, and sounds incredible. It would easily be 5 stars except for 1 tiny detail... What's the point of having a headphone jack if the sound still comes out of the main speakers when it's plugged in? I just bought a stereo headphone jack converter thing and an aux cord specifically so I could use headphones because I live in an apartment and I don't want to bother my neighbors. When I plug it in the sound comes out of both the headphones and the speakers. Am I doing something wrong? Is mine just defective? Or is it really supposed to be like that?
