I love this piano. The sound is so much better than the ancient acoustic piano I had. The keys have just the right feel to them, in terms of weight. The price was good and I'm glad it is just a piano without a lot of fancy features I don't need or want. My only regret was that I couldn't buy it locally and have it delivered assembled. I could do the assembling but it was too heavy to bring it upright (or to put the keyboard on, if assembling it upright). I had to find someone to pay to do that part for me. Not many people want to come to your house to do a 5 minute job. But I'm happy now that it is done.

I ordered a piano from them a week ago. It arrived very quickly, just in two days later. But, unfortunately, it was broken. Probably during packing or transportation there was a strong blow to the front left corner of the keyboard, so this corner was badly broken in several places and the wooden part near the keys, inside the instrument, under the cover was also damaged.
To say I was just upset is an understatement. In addition, I could not get through by phone to the support service. But I wrote them a letter, attached a photo and video of the damaged parts of the instrument, and in the morning I received a response.
Miss Sara from their support team was very professional and friendly. I am very grateful to her for taking my situation under control and solving the problem. She asked about my wishes and I asked someone from their company responsible for shipping to make sure that the product was packed securely and that it was not damaged. I was very worried about this.
On the same day, after talking with her, they sent me a replacement and now I have my beautiful piano. It came a few hours ago and I just assembled it according to the instructions. It's great!

Sounds great! Product delivered quickly and set up was a breeze. Keyboard action was like a real piano. Last year my wife and I downsized our house and I had to give up my baby grand piano and this is the perfect size for our smaller house. It's alright for the price point. It's extremely visually appealing but I don't like how the piano itself sounds, the speakers are underneath and it echos around the cabinet making it sound weird and muddled. I think it sounds really good through the headphones though. The keys are also way too heavy. I'll need to do some extra practicing in the near future because my fingers get tired after 5-10 minutes of playing. I think it would be a good piano to learn on, but this review is from the standpoint of someone who has more experience but still plays casually. I bought it on Black Friday and I thought it was worth it for that price, but I wouldn't pay full price for this piano. It's decent value if aesthetics are important to you but above all I just wish the keys were lighter.

It came reel fast but two of the high keys are not up to par. But the weighed key are good. All the other key are fine. But the book holder is not tall enough for single sheets of paper cord sheet so I made a taller one it works great.

Lifting the head of the piano is very difficult, it takes 2 people to do it. Lining up the screw holes was a challenge.
But after all is said and done, it's really a nice piano with as good sound.

I had an electric keyboard that I was enjoying, but really wanted to upgrade to something that would give me a more true experience of playing on a piano. I wanted something that I could improve and grow some skill using, with real feel and sound, and also that my kids could start lessons on. This digital piano is perfect for that. It is just what I wanted.
I am not an expert piano player by any means but I find the tone of this piano beautiful and realistic. The sound quality compared to the digital keyboard that I had been using is outstanding. This digital piano uses AWM, advanced wave memory, stereo sampling to play notes which closely approximate the sound of a grand piano, depending on how hard a key is hit. I think it sounds very much like a classic piano. The fully weighted keys also give very similar feel and experience of playing an an acoustic piano. The keys, of course, do not have true hammer action but rather emulate it. However, it feels very realistic to me to play on. Since this is a digital piano designed for learning, it does not have all the frilly tones that a keyboard possesses, just the classic piano timbre. Its focus is on sounding like an acoustic grand piano and that is my preference.
The build is a very solid and nice, compact console style. The finish is gorgeous, black with delicate wood grain. It has the high quality look and feel of an upright piano. It even has the 3 classic pedals, soft, sostenuto and sustain. All of the auxiliary and electrical connections are located discreetly on the back of the piano and include the power, audio input and outputs, pedal socket, USB interface for computer and an MP3 connection. There are two 6” speakers on the underside of the keyboard to produce the sound and they have great sound quality. One could boost the sound with an amplifier, using the auxiliary output, but I don’t think it is necessary. I typically play it around half volume and it is plenty loud and sounds nice.
There wasn’t a lot to the assembly, but it is heavy. I did move it into the house by myself to unpack and set up in my basement. While I set it up by myself, as others mentioned, it would be a better job for 2. I was impressed by how well it was packaged to protect it during shipping. It arrived to me in pristine condition.
Overall, I am really pleased with this purchase. This console digital piano is affordable, yet high quality. It is an excellent instrument to learn on.

I've been looking for another keyboard that wouldn't break the bank but still meet the needs of wanting something that feels like an actual piano. This is the best of both worlds! Great value for the price, not too difficult to assemble (was able to put together myself) and sounds great. If you are looking for a basic keyboard with weighted keys, all octaves, and don't need all the crazy bells and whistles of a typical keyboard, this would be a perfect choice. Love the fact it had the cover to protect the keys from dust. Very happy with this purchase!

I compared different brands and models and ultimately chose this one because of the price and that it looks really good. And on top of all of that, it's really fun to play and sounds great.

Item overall meet the expectation. Screws are a bit challenging to put on for installation. I found there was a big chip when I open the cover after installation (picture attached). I m not going to disassemble for return but I was glad the customer service team worked out the issue with me.

Although the sound is great with headphones, I felt the speakers below (without headphones) for my taste did sound a tad muffled and flat. I ended up purchasing some Presonus Eris E3.5-3.5" Near Field Studio monitor speakers which connect very easily to the rear and sit on top and produce fantastic sound. Overall this piano had very good sound (some say a bit tiny in the mid range, which may be slightly true for me but not a deal breaker) and all in all I am very happy with it and spend several hours a day playing.

Our family always admired the piano but never owned one. I decided to buy this so we could learn. Best decision ever to purchase this 88 key weighted digital piano. So glad I didn’t get semi weighted keys for full piano experience. My 19 and 26 year old children are new learners and playing songs only after 2 days. We were all surprised how playing piano is so relaxing & therapeutic. Truly amazing to discover how they can easily play expressing themselves making such lovely sounds. We used an iPad using a piano app that makes it so easy. Excellent quality, sturdy construction that is a real piano that didn’t cost a fortune. It’s brought us such joy I purchased a 2nd one for my daughter to enjoy at her home. Very impressed with Donner brand bundled with stand and pedals. Although once assembled it’s looks like a one piece piano. Highly recommend for beginners and those who needing healthy expression. Best investment for personal enrichment.

Mostly pleased with the sound and keys. I do feel like the tuning is a little off. Very disappointed in the aesthetic. The plastic wood paneling started to bubble and peel away from the form on day two. I tried to contact customer service and have yet to hear back. Cosmetically, I'm very disappointed.
UPDATE:
This company has bent over backwards to address my concerns. The problem with the tuning has been resolved, and since the bubbling was likely due to humidity in transport, Donner has offered to reimburse some of the purchase price for the damage. While I'm still sad about the paneling, this piano was meant to teach my young kids to play, and the cosmetic damage won't affect the sound or function at all. When they are ready for the next level of piano, I will definitely consider Donner again, and recommend them in the meantime.

Not a really helpful review, but so far it’s serving its purpose well.
I’m still an adult late-beginner, and probably always will because of my lack of commitment, but I love playing what I can when I can, my 6 year old daughter is taking lessons and she loves the piano, so the less expensive route on a digital piano was probably going to be best for us.
Anyways, so we’ve had for a few weeks and I’m still holding onto the box for “just in case.” But it sounds good, it plays nicely. My mom who was a music major, piano player and teaches my daughter to play says it’s nice!
The only issue is getting headphones to work in it, Which isn’t a big deal bc of the volume control. Waiting on a special kind of jack attachment to see if that does the trick.
My dad graciously came over the day it arrived and assembled the piano for me in about 30-40 mins.

First, the assembly was quite simple while following a video that a reviewer posted showing step by step instructions (very grateful to that reviewer!) I am a 55 year old woman at 115lbs and I was able to do it by myself but hubby helped me pick up the piano to set it upright at the end as it is quite heavy.
The piano is a beautiful piece. There was no damage during delivery and there are no blemishes on it.
Deliver was 4 days late but that had to do with the courier company and not the seller.
It sounds like an actual piano! The keys are weighted so it’s taking some time for me to get used to it but after a few days of playing, I’m noticing that it’s coming more natural for me.
I am exceptionally happy with this purchase and wake up every day excited to play!

Thanks to another customer who posted a video how to assemble it. I can’t believe that I assembled it on my own. I did ask my neighbour to help me to move it to the right place — for that, you need 2 ppl. I love everything about it except one key doesn’t work properly. I play piano religiously from 5-15, so can spot very minor things in a minute.
For now, I just want to play piano when I’m stressed, so it really serves the purpose. Highly recommended to those who want to learn .

Loved it for 3 days. That's when it randomly started losing audio and buzzing. It would make a buzz noise, no keys will work at all until it's powered off and back on again. Very disappointed. Will update once I go through the customer service process.

The piano came packaged nicely. It was easy to assemble by myself, although it’s probably wiser and safer for two people to do it. I took off the plastic floor protectors and replaced them with felt to protect my wood floors. The piano itself looks pretty amazing for the price. It is a nice looking piece of furniture and blended well in the room. Does it play and sound like my Clavinova? No. I would compare it to driving a Toyota vs. a Mercedes. But as we all know, a Toyota is a great car!! The weighted keys are a tad bit heavy and spring back a little quickly but after 15-20 minutes you adjust to it. It’s actually good for building finger strength. A traIned ear will find it slightly tinny in the midrange, but not noticeably annoying. Overall I think it’s an excellent piano for the price. I have spent a good 8 hours on it so far, and I’m smiling the entire time! My family and friends think I’m joking when I tell them how much I paid for it. It looks very similar to a Yamaha CLP-525, but at a fraction of the cost. And because it’s digital, it’ll never need tuning! This is a great piano for beginners, intermediate, and even advanced players who just want to have fun.

We purchased 1 DDP-90 and 8 DDP-100 digital pianos. The online process was straight forward and quick. The shipping took a while and arrived in about a week. We can't say too much about the reliability since they are still new but the quality seems acceptable and meet our expectation. The only compliant is the packaging, which all boxes arrived broken and torn. We are surprised that the piano could arrived undamaged.
The online customer services is marginal. It took between 1 week to 2 month to answer my email. I can't image how difficult to get a response in case we have a problem with the pianos.

As a former music teacher I am very picky about pianos. I have played for over 50 years. Now being older I wanted an electric because of weight and turning a harp piano. I pondered over this piano for over a year. Watched YouTube videos. I finally ordered it. Fast shipping, easy setup. The sound is outstanding. The sustain pedal gets some getting used to. This is a great piano/keyboard. I forgot to take measurements before I purchased but it ended up fitting perfectly where I needed it to go. It’s beautiful. It was very easy to put together. A regular piano could cost $10,000 plus, so for under $600 to have a piano delivered to your front door is amazing. The only thing I would mention is that the wood is a high density compressed particle wood. So do not place the piano near a wet area as I would imagine there would be swelling of the wood. Great buy and so nice to have in our home. We will enjoy it for years to come.

I felt like I was taking a chance on this product because of other negative reviews and because of the low price point of this piano. I crossed my fingers and hope everything would be fine when I received it.
Unfortunately, I assembled the piano when it arrived and found that no sound comes out when the piano is turned on. I doubled checked the cord and outlet and made sure everything was situated and plugged in but the piano remains completely silent. The volume is up as well. It is frustrating because I can’t seem to directly contact the seller about this issue and it will be a huge hassle to return because of the weight of this product. Not to mention I put the time in to assemble everything just to find that the product or the provided cable might be defective.

I am a piano beginner and I wanted an inexpensive electric piano that will sound well and have a decent pressure sensitivity. This one delivered beautifully. It was easy to put together, the sound is very nice and has some depth, and the delivery was very fast and on time. Pedals behave as they are supposed to and the sound is good both live and on headphones. It is not a grand concert piano, but I am many etudes away from that. It is a very enjoyable product and I am very happy with my purchase.

Once I finally received the digital piano (UPS lost it, so not seller's fault) it only took about 30 minutes to put together. The sound quality is great, and is excellent for beginner and intermediate players. Expert players would probably prefer a real grand piano, but who can afford that? :) I have had keyboards in the past with all the buttons and varying instruments but I never used those functions so this piano is perfect for me. It has three pedals like a real piano and the volume is excellent. The only complaint I can think of is that when I'm playing, sometimes a note will play an octave higher than where I am playing. It blends, so it's not a big deal, but not sure why it does that. When I reduce the amount of keys that I am pressing at the same time, the note goes back to the octave that it is supposed to be in. Overall, I am happy with this purchase and hope it will last for years to come.

I have played piano for almost 40 years now and have had a real piano all my life up until about 7 years ago when I got married. I have wanted a piano, but just couldn’t find room in the budget. I finally saved a bit of money but only had enough for a digital piano. After always having a real piano, I was not thrilled with the idea, but wanting any kind of piano I started researching. I came across the Donner on Amazon and saw a few reviews and decided, for the money, this piano would be perfect...and it just about is!! I love this piano and can’t believe I got it at such a great price! The fully weighted keys, the pedals, the sound...it really feels like I’m playing a real piano. There is no fancy stuff on this piano, it has one tone, no demo songs, no percussion, no anything that you usually find on a digital keyboard. There literally is one button, which is the on/off switch and one knob which is the volume control. You can plug headphones into it and it has a USB outlet, though I haven’t tried out any of these features yet. It looks very nice and has a slide out cover to protect the keys. It was very easy to put together, I did it by myself, though I needed help to lift the keyboard onto the stand. The sound is a tiny bit on the digital side, but nothing that bothers me in the slightest. In fact I love it so much I’ve been considering offering piano lessons! Great purchase!

I have played various electric pianos and this one has the most realistic piano touch. I did not want to purchase a full size piano so I opted for this electric one and could not be more pleased with the purchase. Sound and touch are very realistic and it was pretty easy to assemble. I did need some help to lift the keyboard onto the base, but assembly took about 45 minutes. I love it. This piano was exactly what I was looking for.

I settled on the Donner DDP-100 model after reading several reviews for this and other models. I was slightly nervous because reviews were a bit mixed recently, but thought it would be worth the chance, considering our needs (2 beginners...really all 4 of us are at a pretty basic skill level). We have to travel an hour to find a good piano shop that has a decent inventory and the high-end brands didn't really have reviews that sounded all that much better compared to this one.
Packaging:
I will say that it came very well packaged: box was sturdy, pieces were securely fit in styrofoam, and each piece was individually wrapped in plastic to protect the finish. I assessed each piece for any signs of damage or defect and found only a small drip of glue on the front of the keyboard that is BARELY noticeable.
Assembly:
Again, reviews were mixed about how easy it is to get this assembled. Some swear it is a 2-person job, while others say one person can handle it. I was really nervous as I started to assemble the base because it didn't seem terribly sturdy initially. It took a bit to get it all screwed together. One of the caster inserts wasn't installed correctly and came out when I was trying to adjust a screw, but it was a very easy fix. Once the base was assembled, the whole unit felt more sturdy and it looked great. I was able to pick up the keyboard unit by myself and put it on the base without assistance. It took just a little bit of work to line everything up, so I could attach the keyboard to the base, but I'm pleased to say that yes, it is entirely possible for one person to assemble this without help. It took about 40 minutes to assemble and would have been less, had I not had the issue with the caster. Still, assembly was very easy and it looks great. There was just one little issue with one of the brackets that supports/connects the keyboard to the base being slightly lower that the others, so there is a visible gap, but the screw still was able to be secured at that corner and if I felt like it was a bigger deal, it wouldn't be hard to fix.
Sound Quality/Playability:
Other reviewers note that it takes a little more effort to push the keys than other pianos, but honestly...not that much. It was very easy to adjust to the resistance of the keys and I think it will be perfect to help strengthen the fingers of our beginners. My daughter (age 7) sat down right away and started playing with no problem. As for the sound quality, WOW! If you were listening with your eyes closed, it would be difficult to guess that you were listening to a digital piano. The quality of the sound is incredible! They keys feel great; the foot pedals are nice. Everything about this looks, feels and sounds beautiful. We haven't tried any of the additional hook-ups yet (audio in/out, usb jack, etc.), but I also don't foresee us needing to use them all that often.

I'm so glad I went with my gut on this one. This is a wonderful digital piano and I am excited for my family to use it.

I really, really like this piano. I’m an upper- intermediate pianist with experience being employed as an accompanist, so I knew what I wanted in a piano. Weighted keys (although they are rather heavily weighted, more so than any piano I’ve played before but you get used to it so it’s really not an issue but helpful in developing finger strength!) gorgeous sound, especially when you play with earbuds in. The earbuds don’t fit directly into the piano, you need to buy a connected thingy that costs about $5. It’s also absolutely beautiful looking, with three pedals that feel like quality. It doesn’t have a zillion extra sound effects either - so your money is just getting spent on a beautiful piano tone. The only downside is that it is really heavy, I’m a tough gal and thought I could set it up by myself but I had to ask some friends for to help me for two minutes. Yeah it’s a quick set up. Anyways, takeaway: I would definitely recommend this piano to ANYONE except perhaps a small child, because as I said the keys are weighted kinda heavy. Really good quality for the price too; I was intending on spending $1600 or so, and hesitated to buy this one because it was so much cheaper but I’m definitely glad that I did!!

The unit is functional and sounds good. At the price range, I would say that it is a worthwhile purchase, and it would be better to have a manual.
