Nice looking, good size but the 2 smaller Donner Amps sound better (bass wise) - and having the USB rechargeable batteries in the smaller amps is a big plus. Not disappointed in the purchase but I believe the smaller units will receive more play.

Does exactly what I need it to do. Nice vintage design, super portable. I can get a couple of jams in at lunchtime in the office. Overdrive is a little lacking, but still serviceable to practice with. Good to have as a second practice amp at home so when you tell your friend to come thru, they don't have to lug their amp around.

This Donner M-3 mini guitar amp sounds good with no buzzing. It comes with batteries as well as a power adapter. It looks nice and is neither too heavy or too light. Nice mini amp.

I like to travel and busk and that's why I was drawn to this amp - it's small and runs on batteries, and has pretty nice sounds and features. I would recommend!

This product is awesome! First the packaging it came in was very impressive for the price of what I paid. Compared to other items like this it is half the cost for the quality! I love that it used batteries or a wall supply power. Very compact and perfect for traveling. The power and volume out of this little guy really is amazing! Awesome product and I would recommend it to anyone looking for high quality miniature amps that don’t break the bank!

This little 3 watt amp is a bit under 6x8 in and easy to carry around. It has a very classic look and a solid construction. It seems to be a lot like the fender amp of this same size. The sound fills a room and works very well for practice. This was for my teenage son and he seems to prefer this one to the amp that his Donner guitar came with. We have now had this for a month and it's being used daily. It seems to be holding up quite well.

This is ultra portable and versatile as it comes with both an ac adapter and batteries! The sound quality is great (but remember to get good cords because your equipment is only as good as your cords!)
This is an electric ukulele that it’s hooked up to, it works just as well with a guitar or a banjo. I was surprised to find that it came with batteries (AA) and an adapter, I prefer the adapter but I love the portable option. With my laptop as a soundboard and being able to use a Bluetooth microphone I can make music anywhere thanks to this little amp
It’s sturdy, but it’s small-ish and lightweight. It can go in a backpack (packs for snow boarding are ample and work awesome for music! Who knew?)
It works with an assortment of pedals and it’s got a lot of options with it. Definitely expands your music experience

This is a compact mini amp built like a big one! The fit & finish is good, the knobs feel smooth and solid.

Amp looks absolutely handsome, and comes with power supply and batteries included !

I bought this guy and I have been pretty pleased with the purchase. I'm running it through an Axe FX III direct in and using it clean and undriven, nothing else. It's delivering some pretty clear tones, nothing sparkling or shimmering like a tube amp, but the perfect, even-keeled clean channel that I was looking for. It's not buzzing, humming or distorting - it seems to process the signal pretty well. Further, it's both plug power and battery if you'd like, which was super the other day as I took it outside with an acoustic and just jammed out to the forest with a little bit of over-drive on. Like... yes. I needed a battery powered amp.
So, as such, I recommend this guy. Kind of hard to go wrong at this price point.

I have zero complaints about this little amp. I didnt expect it to sound like my orange micro dark but I was surprised at how good it did sound. Pretty powerful too. I like the fact that it came with batteries and a power cable. It did not come with a cable or picks but who cares. I have plenty of those. For the money you cant beat this little amp. As long as your expectations aren't high you will be happy with it for what it is. A little good sounding practice amp.

This is a cute little guitar amplifier and it’s a Mini Amplifier. Not small but Mini
It is 8 inches long
It is 5.5 inches high
It is 3.25 inches wide and weighs just over 2.25 pounds.
As you can see by the Specs it is not big and can be held in the palm of one’s hand
It is rated as a 5 Watt Output Amplifier. Now it can be run by 4 AA batteries which are included with the amp. One can also plug it straight into the AC house receptacle. It only uses 0.3 Watts of electricity and that is pretty easy on your Hydro Bill.

For those in a hurry, I’ll summarize this review by saying that the Donner M-3 amplifier competes well against other amplifiers in this category. It has several features that my other battery-powered amplifier doesn’t have, including an audio input, an overdrive button, and much better battery life. It won’t replace my larger amplifiers, of course, but it’s good for what it is.

Well, there you have it. This amp works well and provides a lot of sound in a small, portable, package.

The Price is Right it does exactly what I needed to do and has quite a bit of adjustments and inputs very happy with my purchase

I own several guitar amps, but even the ones that are "portable" can weigh over 20 lbs and be bulky to carry around. I thought I'd try one of these because I've been impressed with Donner products in the past.
When it arrived, I was surprised at how small the box was, as I'm not really used to having tiny amps. However, when I picked up the box I was surprised again at the weight. I was honestly expecting something very light, hollow, and plastic, but it had a comforting amount of heft to it. Not exactly heavy, but beefy.
The box was very well packed and included a set of six off-brand batteries, an instruction pamphlet, and an AC power adapter cord. I was immediately impressed with the wood and metal construction, along with the tweed-like grill cloth and black tolex covering. It looks and feels like a good-quality unit.
I installed the supplied batteries and plugged in my Strat. On the "clean" setting, I was able to achieve a workable tone, albeit a little weak in the low-end, and wasn't very loud once I tweaked the EQ knobs to my liking. Now, this is completely understandable for a device with a 3" speaker, and I didn't expect anything different. However, when I plugged my stereo computer speakers into the headphone jack it sounded big and full (your results may vary, based on your computer speakers.)
I also tried the gain/OD setting. This amp gets much louder with the OD engaged. I was able to achieve fairly pleasant edge-of-breakup and crunch tones. I was also able to make it "chug" a little.
Just for grins, I hooked it up to an overdrive pedal, and then a reverb pedal. Turns out, it works pretty good with pedals, too!
Now, when it comes down to it, size matters with amps. Big speakers and cabinets are generally required to produce a full, bassy sound. If you go into this purchase with that understanding you won't be disappointed with this amp. Don't expect to do gigs or rattle windows with a $40 3" amp,
Bottom line...
This seems like a well-built unit that does exactly what it claims to do. It's attractive to look at, provides a decent tone at a reasonable volume, is relatively light-weight and portable, has multiple power options, and good price-point. Compared to what you get from big-name amp makers at this price or size (Ma------, Fe----, Vo-, etc.), this is a far better option.

Reason I ordered this little amp is because I wanted something small and light weight. I do have a vintage Fender tube amp at home but with 45lbs it stays home! This mini amp though I can take on a plane and stow it underneath the seat!
It runs on batteries (6xAA included) if I want which is very handy, but a power supply is also part of the package.
The Donner M-3 amp has 2 channels, clean and overdrive. I personally am mostly intersted in clean tones, i tried out the dirt channel to see if it works, and yes, it does. Donner calls is ‘overdrive’ but for me it’s more like a fuzz channel. A nice effect, alas, I’m into clean, and clean it does very nicely. The amp has 3 tone adjustment knobs, bass, middle, highs which are very effective, especially if one listens via the built-in headphone output.
Another feature which was important for me is that besides the obvious guitar input it has also an mini ‘aux’ input that can be used for playback together with your guitar or on it’s own - i.e. iphone, ipad, computer output! As small as this amp is, audio sounds far far better than through those microscopic ‘speakers’ from a laptop or tablet.
So, is it a keeper? Yes, totally! It’s small, it’s cute, it sounds great!
