We discovered the Donner brand and this model while searching for a keyboard that would match our pseudo mid-century modern decor, yet be of good quality. The reviews were good, so we took a leap of faith and ordered it. The online ordering process was straight forward and the delivery was on time, earlier than expected actually. The item was well packed and was easy to assemble. Then came the real test, playing it to hear sound quality and feel. It exceeded expectations. The weighted keys felt good to play and the speakers, hidden on the underside emitted a good quality piano sound. We have yet to play with the other features, such as hooking up to a computer, but plan to in the weeks ahead....as well as replace the ugly folding chair with something more appropriate. :-)

I absolutely love this piano, it was everything I expected, it plays like a real piano, better than any keyboard I have seen, the order was placed and few days later I received the shipment delivered right to my door with care, it was easy to put together and everything looks pristine, I also ordered a bench to match and it is very eye pleasing, comfortable and the right height, I also don't think the shorter in height note stand should be a downside, it can help the notes well and looks great, thank you again for such a nice item.

Bought the DDP-80 Wooden Style 88 Key Weighted Digital Piano with Stand & 3 Pedal and really like it. The problem is that I ordered the matching bench, and it did not ship with the piano. I contacted customer service and they said it was shipping separately (the emails and shipping notifications I received said they were shipping together) so a week later I received the bench. The shipping box had holes in it and looks like it had been crushed. I opened it up and sure enough the bench was destroyed. I contacted Customer service several times and provided pictures of the unopened package and the damaged bench itself. The problem is that the bench WAS in stock, and is still in stock to this very day. I asked about this and was told it was an error on their website and that it wasn't in stock, and I then said I would be ok to wait until it was back in stock as I wanted the matching bench. They replied again and said there was no plan to restock it anytime soon. Then they said my only option was a refund. They said the refund would arrive back in my payment account in 5-7 business days. I waited 10 business days and still no refund. Contacted customer service yet again, and they finally sent the refund. I just checked the Donner site before writing this review, and sure enough, the bench is in stock. It became pretty clear that the only reason they were saying it wasn't in stock is that they didn't want to pay to have another shipped to me. I just selected the bench, put it in my cart and go all the way to the payment screen before backing out. Clearly, it's in stock, it's been in stock and I was lied to. The piano itself seems pretty nice so far, but I won't do business with them again based on this experience and the 10 emails I had to send to customer service just to get most of what I paid for.

The keys are weighted and in working condition no issues as I saw another review that there was a key not working. The volume is great to adjust and it also gives you the headphone option. I’ve been loving mine! I do have an upright piano from childhood, but am currently living in an old mill style building with tall ceilings and little insulation. I figured my neighbors would appreciate the fact I can plug in my headphones to practice. This also comes in handy if you have an open floor plan and someone else wants to watch the television at the same time. It’s convenient for me, sounds great, and looks adorable! I didn’t love the bench option, so purchased a fun, bohemian style bench instead. I’m a very satisfied customer!

Went out on a limb here. After tuning an old piano for 250 dollars and it still not sounding well I got rid of it and put ‘minipiano’ in my search engine. I found you all and I am SO happy I did. 88 keys, great weight on the fingers (I’ve always hated the feel of electric pianos) sounds great! I can play piano again. I have already recommended it to others.

The piano itself is very nice in person and seems to be made fairly well. The sound quality is good. I bought this piano as a Christmas gift but was very disappointed with the return policy. Donner should reevaluate that policy given the nature of their products and the crazy timing of shipping around the holidays. I went ahead and purchased the product but had to rush the gift-giving "in-case" there was an issue with the piano.

Rather than move my console traditional piano across country again (hard on the piano and my finances), I decided to see if a digital piano was a good alternative. Our holiday gift to ourselves was the Donner-80 Digital piano which arrived promptly and well packed. The instructions are simple and assembly was remarkably trouble free. (You need a Phillips head screwdriver to attach legs to keyboard base; the separate bench came with an appropriate tool). We love the sound and the action on the keyboard. We do plan to ask a quilter friend to fashion a keyboard cover to protect from dust. Great job, Donner!

I've had this for about 3 weeks now and I'm still in love with it. It was easy and straightforward to assemble, and it feels super sturdy. The sound is great and the keys feel like a real acoustic piano. Specifically, the black keys have this subtle matte and non-slippery feel compared to other pianos/keyboards I've played on.
Overall, it's everything I wanted; mimics the feel and sound of an acoustic piano, doesn't have the extra buttons, beats, sounds/samples that I never use, and is not sore to look at in my living room. I play it for multiple hours a day every day and have had no issues and I get excited every time I sit to play.

This is a nice instrument for the money—a good value. I like the feel of the keys and the sound is good. My one main dislike at this point is that the sustain pedal doesn’t really seem like a real piano and doesn’t sustain as well as I had hoped. I am enjoying using it to practice and like that I can use my headset to not disturb my husband. I can’t really compare it to much more expensive keyboards, but it suits my purpose. The appearance is nice.

I'm a beginner who lives in a small city apartment. Floor space is very valuable, I didn't want anything I purchased to be an eyesore, as all my belongings are pretty much constantly on display. This is a BEAUTIFUL keyboard, and the closest thing to a piano I can get in here without troubling my neighbours - but also, it really does just feel like a piano!
It was a very fair price, and honestly a great find as I found nothing similar out there on the market (closest alternatives I found cost thousands of dollars, and are stands not actual wooden keyboards). In short.. I regret nothing!
MINOR ISSUE: My keyboard arrived damaged from transit. The team were quick to respond, and figured out a solution for me right away. I decided to keep the keyboard at a discount as the damage was surface level. Everything else works perfectly. I could have received a replacement on request.

This is my first digital piano. I have played many very expensive pianos and the feel of this feels like a real piano. The keys have the right weight to them and change depending on key. The speakers sound better than I thought they would. I was going to use it with an amp but the speakers are so nice that I just use it that way.

The piano is great for a compact, affordable piano that sounds and feels like an acoustic. I was surprised to find that the piano is made of particle board and a wooden veneer with metal legs with a faux-wood finish when I first put it together, but the sound and feel is great. The color of the faux wood is a little more orange than it shows in the picture online, but overall for the price this is good. I am just getting back to playing piano after years off and live in an apartment in NYC, so committing to a true acoustic piano was too much at this time. I find this electric piano to be perfect for my purposes.

This is a lovely "piano" with great sound and an authentic piano keyboard feel. The only difficulty I encountered was finding headphones - you will need to find one with a large (6.5mm) plug on both ends, or use an adaptor (like I did). But overall, I am very pleased with this purchase!

Product came in damaged chips on the wood on both corners. Multiple keys either not working or with no touch sensitivity. Fortunately, the customer service patiently helped me follow up, and finally reshipped a new piano, and it's good.
