I try and play it often. I need more music.

Haven't had a piano in my house for almost 10 years. This keyboard sounds like a piano & I enjoy it very much!

Great portable piano for both beginners and intermediate players! The soundstage is great while playing with plenty of volume. The different samples and nice and clear, and having the full 88 keys really makes playing up and down the octaves alot easier. Overall great buy for any students, teachers, or anyone looking for a great affordable option.

So far, so good. 88 full-sized piano keys. Not quite the weight of keys on an acoustic piano, which I find to be good thing. MIDI connections, which are very important to me. Built-in speakers, which I may never use since I do everything using MIDI. All in all, quite a find! A steal at twice the price. :-)
PATRICIA K.
Love it, but used to 3 pedals. Don't like that the 1 pedal stays on sustain once pressed.
Brian J.
It sounds natural but not as good as I hoped for. The keys are not weighted at all, even though it's classified as "semi weighted" they are not. It is very light weight and easy to move. Fine for my child's piano practice.
customer
The keys are a little too heavy and don't do a good job of preparing a student for a recital. You get too used to only playing on this piano that when you play on an actual grand or something a little different it feels weird.
carl stuck
I really liked this e piano at first but I’ve had it less than a month and already have a key sticking when played. Frustrating for me as a beginner and I can only imagine that it will probably get worse.
Banjiu
It's a good product. Nice sound and keys. But it DID NOT come with the instructions. Now I want to connect to computer and record the sound and I failed all the time.
customer
We bought this piano and the book holder is missing .
jingyan zhang
3 stars because power supply and sustain pedal are missing from the package. Well clearly someone removed it from the package at some point... sad. Have to go through return and reorder process
Merida
Everything is ok but the voice is to little
SummerW
This digital piano has a good sound. I wanted to keep it. however, I returned it because the last few keys didn’t work well.

So I'm not at all an expert and I just bought this as my very first piano to start learning as a beginner. I like it over all and I thought the sound is fine till I try playing with headphones on. It is sooo much better with headphones which means it's not that good without. But I'd say for the price it is still pretty good.
dbgp66
This keyboard is just OK. The price is good for a full size weighted keyboard. The keys feel good, however the sound quality is a bit disappointing. The main piano voice is ok, but most of the other voices are meh -- not very rich or vibrant in comparison with other keyboards I've tried.
Sylvia D. Britton
It's very heavy. That's OK though. It wasn't packed as securely as I would have thought.
Dennis S
Very good for casual player and beginners but I would not recommend if you are taking lessons or practicing for skills
Sam Purtill
Overall I think this is a great deal in terms of value, it’s inexpensive and a good starter keyboard.
jeff meyer
I can not buy three pedals separately..
Necomaster
the keyboard is good, it would be better with stand.
Cami W.
I am really enjoying it, but wonder why the keyboard tilts back away from me when sitting on a flat table. I have had to prop up the back to make it level
Barry Durante
Good sound, great built-in options, easy to understand instruction manual, great for beginners at this price..
Wanderingwithapurpose
The media could not be loaded. Would have given it a five star except the strip that runs all the way across is lifting (from the point of delivery) and cannot be repressed down. It does not come with the sticker lettering that is currently being used for beginner lessons. It has a solid key and the sound is very nice. Outside of the strip we are very pleased!

This piano is very thick, it stands up like 8 inside off the stand. Then the keys are tilted backwards making the hand position all crouchy. I feel like a t-rex playing. The piano features are very very confusing, you have to use keys to change the sound and the instruction manual every time. The upper range is quieter than lower range.
Austin
It takes a bit of force to make a sound, but it's more realistic that way. The piano sound is really good. Keys are semi-weighted as advertised, they have this wood texture that seems a bit extra honestly. Doesn't come with a stand; there's another version on Amazon that does, so look for that or DIY. If you're planning to use this as a midi controller, you should get an additional USB-A to USB-B adapter cable; it doesn't come with one. It also has midi slots for use with old equipment.
Andrei Seryi
Great piano, like it.
Hope
Excellent sound quality!

Sustain pedal not working

I have played piano over 20 years. This is something that is great for a first timer to use for awhile. The weighted keys are 1/2 weighted and the action is so so. One of the keys is sort of lower than all the others and while playing you must press down hard to activate the keys.. It is difficult to play pieces that require a light touch. So for the money... dont expect too much.. If you bought it like I did for something to practice on were I am now and not home it will do...

I echo the sentiments of the other reviewers. I have been playing piano since the age of 6 and I'm turning 27 in a month. I've had a hiatus where I stopped playing due to college and other life commitments which has lasted about 10 years. I decided to get back into playing, but didn't want to invest in a true piano because my time would be short, and I don't have a house yet. To get a good full-weighted portable piano costs at least $700, more if you want a top of the line piano like the Yamaha P70. So I went into this experience not expecting much. It was more of a "how does this piano REALLY stack up" kind of experiment. It's about $300, you can't really ask for much in a full-size keyboard for that price. Key feel: Hate to say, but they're nowhere near semi-weighted. They're basically regular keyboard keys, but they've added the actual key shape. But the weight feels just as flimsy as a regular 61-key Casio keyboard. So I would say this is perfect for beginners who want the feel of an actual piano, without shelling out $700+ for a real piano only to have your beginner abandon their resolve to learn it a few weeks later. Just keep in mind to tell them when they transition to a real piano, the keys are going to feel slightly stiffer, but it will give them more control. The keys also have a problem where they seem to have an "all-or-nothing" approach below a certain pressure point, so you will never be able to get to the actual lowest volume an actual piano can get to. For me, this resulted in a lot of missing notes on delicate pieces like the 2nd movement of Beethoven's Pathetique Sonata. In addition, they have this weird thing where the noise level is sudden and not linear. What do I mean by that? You get loud, somewhat louder, softer, and nothing. That's it. Want something in between? Too bad. But hey, it's a $300 keyboard so beggars can't be choosers. Weight: Not too light, but not too heavy either. Calling this portable is a stretch. Sound: The piano sound is realistic, but the pedal that comes with the piano is not great as it has a horrible deadzone before it can properly register. In addition, the reverb setting is sort of hidden (you need to hold a button and press a key) and that's the key to improving the sound. I love the different voice and instrument options and the ability to write stuff directly into music composing software on your devices, so that's a plus as a composer myself. The piano volume is great. I've set it to about 40% and I think that's about 75% of how a Grand Piano sounds in your ears. Verdict: For its price point, this keyboard definitely is a nice piece for beginners to springboard into piano playing and decide whether a real piano is worth the investment. However, don't go in expecting a piano otherwise you'll be disappointed. This piano doesn't come with a stand, so keep that in mind.

How can I turn down the volume ?

Just have to take time and follow use instructions!

For the price, it is good for someone who wants to learn and not spend much.
Jill K
Nice set up for a student. The sound isn’t as good as Casio brand, but it was inexpensive.
Suzzane
Looks and feels cheap for the price
Shevy1280
Hasn’t stopped playing it since he received it. Definitely a great idea for students in the distance learning phases. Music class at home.
Customer
really like the sounds. The piano sounds just like one. The only thing is that when you put it on the stand, the keyboard itself tilts backwards which makes it awkward to play. Other than that, its great.
D.Vera
Very impressed on the solid weight on this product.
It has easy to use tunes.
Kaitlyn
It’s ok for beginners practicing placement of their hands or matching reading music to notes, but I wish I would’ve spent a bit more money and gotten something better quality.
Vikcy Hanson
The adaptor broke after only a few months and we're currently looking for a new one.
BPP
the product cant work. I contacted the manufacturer for support, like it says to on this site, and they sent me back to here where there is no one I can find to help resolve this. Pretty unsatisfied.
Scott J
I bought this for my son as he wanted to learn, so I figured it makes more sense than letting him try a more expensive one lol.
Elizabeth
I bought this model because the one I wanted was out of stock.
Hereward Senior
The unit is functional and sounds good. At the price range, I would say that it is a worthwhile purchase, and it would be better to have a manual.
Andyk
Don’t know what experience others had but the first thing I checked, all keys are fine! Shipping was fast and it was all easy to setup.
Estelita
For. Beginners sound is good .
larena
Great for beginners and space limitations. It feels pretty good playing it and the sound quality is good for the price. A detailed user's manual with list of presets would be very helpful.
Juan Lopez
Where can I find the manual or how to use the different features?
Nic
Sound quality is amazing and it has a very elegant look
Robert
This piano is very good for beginners or intermediate players. Arrived when expected. Easy set up. Simple instructions. Sound quality is great. Highly recommended.

Although the product is defective, the company's service attitude is very good, so it is recommended to buy

Fast logistics, well pakage.

It is very good for the price. I would recommend this only for beginners. It sounds like it has a deep sound quality.

I've played piano for years, and watched my kids learn to play. Then my grandchildren began to play, so, getting older, I gave my piano to the grandkids. But, I missed it. So I chose to buy this Donner piano. I was so excited when it arrived! I set it up --and middle C didn't work. I contacted Customer Service through Amazon, and after sending a video of the problem, they shipped a new piano to me in less than a week. It's working great and I'm thrilled with the sound and the feel of playing again. BIG thank you to Donner's customer service!
Rebeca
I just started my online casses with this electric piano, in a overall it is a decent piano, it come with great speakers but i am using headphones, you'll need P10 to P2 adapters, the paper holder could be better designed but it sill holding ass it for, it is a real full size piano.
DL
An excellent machine. Perfect for regular practice and playing.

The keyboard has a luxurious design that looks like high-end models. It is 88 long keyboard models with semi-weighted keys. The key has an ivory-like color make it different from the Yamaha one that I currently have. The button has a minimalist design that only has a few in the panel. However, the piano has a lot of functions and sound styles. They can be called via a combination of buttons and keys. We need to spend sometimes to study the manual. One interesting feature that I like is that we can open mp3 via external storage for background music and it is very easy to do. The keyboard does have a pedal and music sheet holder. However, it does not have a stand so we need to purchase it separately. The keyboard is actually thin and does not occupy much space and it is absolutely fit for a small apartment.
Ed
I am learning to play and I really enjoy the sound and how great it fits in my home.
Raulito
This keyboard is amazing for biginners the sound quality is really good and great price for all extras it has
R.
great sound and good for beginners
Alexander
I like this a lot because it’s good quality and great for learning on as it’s the closest thing to a real piano with the semi weighted keys. Love it, have it connected to my PC as a MIDI and works awesome!
Mariah
I love my donner I’m a beginner and this piano is great I love the sound quality I sometimes have trouble with my a6# key but other than that it’s great I would totally recommend it and purchase it again
Aliyah
This keyboard is great for small spaces. I just play as a hobby and prefer to have something easy to move (even though it’s kinda heavy) The keyboard come with a peddle that I have not been able to make work. I bought a seat and stand separately for about 40$ each. All in all it is a good purchase.
Joshua
Bought this key board for my 10 year old. It was easy to use and sounds great. Perfect for beginners.
Liss
This was recommended to us by various people in the music world. We are thrilled with this purchase. Our daughter is using this for her piano and voice lessons. The sound is clear and precise. The weight of the keys is more similar to a piano. The sustain pedal works more like those of a regular piano. This is a purchase worth getting!
Jessica
Perfect piano for my 8 year old son. Sounds great!
Customer
This was a great deal for my son! I purchased on Black Friday. He is so excited to begin piano lessons. Easy setup, sound is great.

We absolutely love this piano for beginners. I purchased stickers to place on the keys to help the kids learn.
Gene
Perfect keyboard piano for my child to start learning on! Great deal for the price, bigger and more amazing than I thought it would be! Very happy with my purchase.
Luis
This Piano is one of the best things i’ve ever bought. The sound is really good, the keys are heavy and the quality is amazing. If you’re looking for a new addition this is the one!
Jason
I give the sound quality 5 stars.
Andrew
The piano was a bit wobbly one i started to play other songs such as maple leaf rag but an easy fix. the price is very resonable compared to other digital pianos out there. 10/10 for me!
Beverly
I bought this based on reviews, and I am not disappointed. The keys are weighted and feel like a regular piano. The sound is good. I have not utilized the pedal, or other components, but look forward to learning those.
Linda
Was wanting a keyboard so I could return to piano playing....this one is simple to use, and has advanced features for when I get back to that ability...great for me, so far!
Eleesa
I love my new keyboard its perfect for beginners!! I haven't played piano in years and when you don't use it you loose it, so when I got this new keyboard it helped me relearn how to play.
Kim T.
It was for my grandson and he loves it. He writes his own music and now he is able to really show case what he writes.
Carlos Carbonell
Great sound quality. It is a good option for beginners.
Diane Hofer
The pedal was a YEAR OF FRUSTRATION because it worked in reverse. Finally found a switch on the side of the sustain pedal and am now able to play all my old music. Instruction book had nothing and questions to seller didn't help. Instruction book needs updated because it's quite limited. This doesn't play like my old wooden piano, but is ok for beginner. You'll probably want to upgrade if you continue to play
Sharwal
good for me exercises!
Daniel
Very good quality for the money!
Smith
sound is great, keys are a little hard to push, directions are confusing as to how to get the different sounds
john wilson
I was truly surprised at the sound and volume from this piano. It really does sound and feel very close to a real piano. I would define you buy this again!
I want to play the game I will ask my mom
This is a great keyboard for someone just getting started. Great sound quality!
Ajay Cheruthon
I received the Donner keyboard 3 days ago. This is my first keyboard and finding my way around the device seemed very easy. The layout is very well designed making it easy to navigate through the various features and effects, despite lacking a screen.
The semi-weighted keys feel premium and their sensitivity surpassed my expectations.
The keyboard was bulkier than I expected it to be but I don't have a problem with it. The 88 key design is good, but I wasn't very fond of the tone of the lowest octave, but I don't think the lowest octave is used that often. The tones otherwise are very good. The built in speaker quality is great too.
I haven't tried the midi functionalities yet, but think that is a great feature to have.
Overall I think it is great value for money and I look forward to having loads of fun with it.

For over 20 years I have been a music producer (electronics, acid jazz, songwriters, soundtracks for films, sound design for exhibitions and 3D mapping projections), I collaborate with a recording studio and I also have my home studio.
As a child I studied classical piano, in adolescence I then continued self-taught the study of keyboards, synthesizers, sax, guitar and bass, completely abandoning the classical and acoustic piano.
Recently I needed to buy a digital piano to be used both connected to the computer (until now I have always used midi controllers with 3 or 4 octave weighted keyboards) and for pleasure in resuming jazz studies.
As a happy owner of other Donner instruments (electric guitar, ukulele, speaker and pedal effects), after comparing videos and reviews of numerous digital pianos online, trusting the brand in the end I chose this piano at the excellent value for money and now I'll explain why I highly recommend it.
Oliver Mason
I got this piano as a beginner wanting to progress and it's perfect for the task! I don't know a huge amount about what makes a good piano yet, but for the affordability this one does everything I need it to do; not too many bells and whistles but sounds and feels high quality and sturdy overall. The voices are easy to change, there are a few effects like reverb and there's a built in metronome which are all easy to use. The volume control is a slider and it can get very loud.
I wanted a large piano so I wouldn't have to get used to a bigger one later. This one doesn't comes without a stand so worth considering whether you need it or if you've got a surface to put it it on. It's big. There's a music stand so you can use a tablet/phone
They keys have a textured finish which is a nice touch. They are also weighted/have some resistance so it feels like a piano rather than keyboard. I've not tried to use it as a MIDI controller yet, but the number of connections available is great. It uses full size (quarter inch) cable connections if you want to use headphones. The only flaw is that mine has one slightly noisy (unmuted?) key.
