Was completely blown away when I started assembling this kit! For the price point this is more than a beginner kit. I'd place it as an intermediate kit. There are the obvious things that are lacking, such as some hardware and the cymbals. But those are easy to upgrade. I purchased this kit for my younger brother, as he's been wanting to get into drums (and my kit is no longer available to him, since I've moved out of home) TLDR: Definitely recommend for beginner/intermediate players.

This is a great beginner drum set! Granted, we have nothing to compare it to - none of us have ever played drums before, including the 17-year-old these were purchased for. But she's thrilled with the look and quality of these.
We're not sure how to rate the sound, as none of us are familiar with other drums. She feels that these sound different than YouTube drums, but isn't sure if that's due to how recordings sound on her phone, or a wonky setup, or just different drums. She thinks the cymbals sound "cheaper," but again, it all seems relative.
Overall, she gives this 4 stars and says she'd definitely order it again. It's a great beginner set, neither fancy nor cheap, and she's having a blast learning how to play it.

I have released music professionally (not good enough to put food on the table, but I do it for fun). I've been doing music for almost 40 years, moved into more electronic production, and have missed the sound of "real" drums in my tracks. I can play various instruments, but somehow have never really sat down and tried to play the drums. In my head I'm a great "air drummer" of course, but I have been tamed by reality and how amazingly talented drummers are.
Anyway, I have been wanting a kit for a long time and was able to try out this one. It comes it a giant single heavy box (80 pounds), and is nicely packed. It does require assembly, and the instructions are a bit of joke, but for any experienced drummers would not even be necessary. Well I am a total newbie, so I wound up having to supplement the instructions with YouTube videos. But fortunately there are plenty out there, including basic topics such as tuning and how to get started playing with some resembling the "right" technique (although if you can find a good instructor that is probably the way to go). I have a small bedroom as a studio, and this little kit fits perfectly. The sound of the drums sounds great to my ears, although it isn't going to be heavily processed and equalized like you are used to hearing from recorded music ... but it certainly has that "live festival" or "live small club" sound that is really cool and fun.
The quality of the items seems first-rate, at least from my newbie perspective. I have been around brass instruments and high-end keyboards for decades, and this fits right in with a reasonable quality that certainly should not hold anyone back for years. With drums the heads are very important, and those can be replaced. But for me, the starter heads with this kit work just fine.
My only "gripe" was initially the tone of the bass drum. I was hoping for a really awesome low frequency Metallica style thump, and at first I wound up with a middle-school tom-tom sound instead. Thanks to online help I was able to really loosen up the rear head (with the hold that faces the fall or away from the drummer), and also stuffed some neck pillows (fits nicely in the hole and easy to pop in and out), and now I'm satisfied with a reasonably low and tight bass drum.
In total it took me about 2 hours to assemble everything at a really slow pace (and again, supplemented with watching YouTube videos). But wow is it exciting to tune those babies and sit down for the first time and start giving it a go. Maybe in a decade I'll be as good as I thought I would be right off the bat, but that is another matter ... the journey sure will be fun though, which is often the best part in life.
So enjoy - highly recommended!

A little background info first. I've played guitar for nearly 50 years and own around 20. A few months ago, I got a digital piano and have really enjoyed learning a handful of songs. I've always wanted to experiment with drums and decided this kit would be fitting to cut my teeth on. Suffice to say, I don't know what constitutes the difference between a great drum set, a good one, or a cheap one. My gut feeling tells me this is a good drum set that may go for a higher price if it were a name brand.
Yes, it's totally disassembled upon arrival. The instructions are brief and incomplete, but there's a good video in the product images that helps walk you through it. Once you assemble the first drum, you'll have the hang of it. The rest are just a matter of repetition. One helpful hint, go online and search for a video on replacing drum skins which will show you the proper sequence to take for even tension. Assembly is a rather lengthy process and patience is a virtue. I encountered no obstacles at all. Every bolt tightened smoothly. Assembing this thing from scratch also gave me an understanding of the physics of drums. I initially got all the bolts a little tighter and left it there for a few days before loosening them to tune it, thinking this would stretch the skins a little faster. I don't know if this is proper technique, just my rationale.
As for manufacturing quality, I found no flaws or imperfections anywhere and the silver sparkle looks awesome. It even has an expansion clamp for an additional cymbal. I can't speak drummer jargon, but I do know that it makes a lot of noise in a small room. Love it! My wife was amused when I sat down for the first time to whittle out my version of "We Will Rock You." After one week, she still doesn't mind me working off my daily stress. This will eventually wear thin, so I got a set of Evans Rockset drum pads that are a perfect match at 10", 12", 14", 16" and an adjustable bass pad that works well with the 20" bass drum. The cymbal pads also fit perfectly. My neighbors wil thank me as well.
I'm never going to be a serious drummer. I just want to be somewhat proficient. I'll get there someday and I'm going to have a lot of fun doing it with this set. I can definitely recommend it for any aspiring drum player or even an intermediate player on a budget. There are a few 5 piece acoustic sets on the market at a lower price and if the construction and sound quality are as good as this, I would have to see it to believe it.

The drum set comes very well packed, and there were no issues with damage or missing parts.
I followed the assembly steps and found it quite straightforward, except for the stool and symbol builds - but with a little bit of common sense and basic engineering know how, you should have no problems! Once assembled, I played around with the drums a bit and was very impressed. Sound and quality far exceeded my expectations! The various stands, mounts and other hardware are really very well made. Finish is excellent, and I love the metallic flake silver color.
The set even includes drum sticks.
I can’t wait to learn and play on this solid drum set. It’s an amazing value for what you pay! Great for beginners who don’t want to shell out loads of cash but still want a quality drum set.

To begin with, it’s important to understand that I’m a complete newbie when it comes to drums. This is my first time assembling/ playing drums, so this review is from a beginner’s perspective.
It’s been a wish of mine to give drumming a try for years - so after much research, I chose this Eastar five piece drum set. There are many videos and reviews online featuring these drums which really helped with the assembly process. Basic instructions are included, but I recommend watching videos and looking at photographs for further reference. In all, the build took me just over two hours. It was a fairly simple and enjoyable process!

After researching drum sets and reading reviews I decided on this one. The company has a good history with the drum sets and I feel the value was also good.
The drum set was quick and easy to put together in my opinion. I needed to use the video they had on the product page.
In my opinion everything seems very sturdy and well built. Grandkids have been playing this drum set and I have had no issue with any part of it.

This is a great set that with help, went together pretty smoothly. It's for my teenage son and he had a better grasp on where all the sections needed to go, since he is more familiar with drum sets than I am. But we got it together in an afternoon and he loves it. The drums look great and they sound very good. Plenty of sound comes from them!

This is a terrific beginner set. I am a beginner drummer. I have a nice electric Yamaha set, and I've played on my friend's acoustic set many times, so it's nice finally having my own acoustic set. I knew enough about the ins and outs of a drum set to get set up, but I consulted with YouTube setup videos to make sure a few times. The sound is terrific for the price. I could see myself upgrading this set over time. I absolutely love the silver color. I just wish they didn't plaster their name brand all over it.

I'm not a drummer, I got this kit for my practice room so that our drummer didn't have to set up every practice and so that if we were without a drummer we still had drums to play in a pinch. I set these up, it was the first drum kit I have ever assembled so I don't have a huge frame of reference but I was very impressed with the quality of all the components. Everything went together well which is good because it had to be put together completely. Heads, brackets, legs...all of it but that gave me a chance to see each and every part and admire the finish quality and machining. Without being too familiar with drums I can tell you this is a professional kit not a toy and the quality reflects it. I had my brother come over and tune it for me and check it out. Now my brother isn't much of a drummer but what he lacks in talent he makes up for in exuberance. He beat the heck of of them. aside from a little lazy bass pedal (his words) he was very pleased. I thought for sure that his finest rendition of his favorite Scandinavian Death metal song would take its toll on the heads but they didn't even go out of tune. We have a double bass pedal on it now. and our regular drummer has spent some time behind them. He hasn't had a lot of input the fact that he's not complaining speaks volumes. I am beyond pleased with this kit. aside from a bass pedal that is a little janky I would say that its worth every penny.

I'm a noobie and wanted a low-cost set of drums to fool around with in my spare time. This set of drums fits the bill. The price is affordable and the quality is good enough. Set up required a bit of imagination, e as the included instruction was rather sparse. So far the sound quality seems okay. I will update if any quality issues arise.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Excellent overall set with much better hardware than I expected, the drum mounts and adjustments are all excellent. The stands are great as well and can be used in just about any set up you would move up to in the future if you decide for a professional touring set etc. as you advance in playing. The box is neatly packaged,I suggest taking everything out getting it ready to assemble, the instructions are very light however and anyone with any experience putting things together shouldn’t have any problems. The instructions feel like they were made for someone who already put together a drum set honestly, but there are different videos on YouTube for help. Also buy a torque key because the shells are fairly decent but felt a little softer and it is just much better feeling you are not going to over tighten the heads. The cheaper items were the seat and the high hat setup, other than that a great set ,I am super impressed.Note it’s a full size set ,I am just 6’7” so it looks small in the video.

I have never learned how to play an instrument even though I have a bunch of musicians in my family. My father is a phenomenal drummer and used to be in a band. He refused to teach me though even though I've always wanted to learn and practically begged him. I got this drum set with the hope of possibly taken lessons or learning off YouTube. My husband helped me set it up and I allowed myself to get comfortable with it. It's a wonderful set. I have scheduled professional lessons and I've been following along with some people that I've subscribed too. This is a well made set and I'm already picking it up. It's great for beginners! I'm not even as terrible as thought I'd be starting out and that may be due to my father, brother and uncles all being drummers! My father had some thing against his daughter learning how to play. I'm taking matters into my own hands! The drum set is also gorgeous!

This is very nice overall drum set! I do not recommend for beginners because 95% of it needs to put together from scratch which may be overwhelming/hard to do for a beginner. Once everything is put together it looks and sounds great, and includes everything you need (stool and drum sticks). The finish and color is flashy and eye catching. My fiance, my children, and I all love to play drums so I decided to order us this quality set. We might pick up another pedal for double bass!

My Son has been at the drums for 2 years now and has been begging for a better set since he started. I decided to grab this for his birthday and couldn't be happier with it. You can hear the difference from his beginner set to this professional set almost instantly. It has more of a hum instead of a vibration to it, very crisp and clear. Love the cost, very reasonable for how well it is made and the craftsmanship behind it. Highly recommend this set.

This is a great beginner drum set! Granted, we have nothing to compare it to - none of us have ever played drums before, including the 17-year-old these were purchased for. But she's thrilled with the look and quality of these. The set arrives in an enormous 70# box that would barely fit through our back door - so be aware of that! We decided to unpack it on the porch and bring it in piece by piece. Setup was a one-person job and was easy once she figured it out. No tools needed. The directions were basically useless (at least to a novice), so she ended up watching multiple YouTube videos. These provided a small bit of help, enough to get her started - the hardware on these seemed different than standard hardware, but in the end, it all went together fine. Overall, she says everything seems like good quality. It's all sturdy, and it looks very cool. The silver color is nice, but whatever film covers the drums isn't adhered very well; at the seams it appears to fold up a little, though the rest is stuck on well and won't keep peeling. She also likes the look of the clear tops. The stool is adjustable, which is nice; she was able to find a height that worked well for her 5'5" height. The padding on the stool isn't great, and the top feels a little wobbly and unstable, though the base is good. Definitely not a major problem, and is mitigated by extra tightening of the hardware. The drumsticks seem like good quality as well - sturdy without being too heavy. She says the pedals are a good size for any foot, as they are quite long but still comfortable for her size 8 women's feet. We're not sure how to rate the sound, as none of us are familiar with other drums. She feels that these sound different than YouTube drums, but isn't sure if that's due to how recordings sound on her phone, or a wonky setup, or just different drums. My son wants to be a drummer! This is a great set for him. The set is easy to assemble, has everything you need starting out, its high quality, everything came in great condition, packaged amazingly in one giant box. Was easy to put tpleased. The set looks great. The stool is nice, the symbols sound good. Drums sound good. Can't over emphasize how great it was to get everything in one nice package, a great value. I'm hoping my son sticks it out as he's really having a great time learning on these. He's had fun starting out and I think he will continue along, this set should last him a long time and he's very happy with them, so I'm extatic about the set. Good value, sounds great, easy to put together, very pleased.

Initially when I saw this in my order queue I was petrified that my husband had literally brought a drum set to our home. Then I realized he sent it to my inlaws and I breathed a sigh of relief. They have more space in their home so they can easily put this away when we're not down for a visit. Our daughter LOVED the drum set and it's easy for her to use and she's only 3. My father in law said this was easy to assemble and that you get sounds that are true.

Getting started on the drums can seem like an imposing thing, in no small part because the cost of entry is higher than many other instruments (especially rock instruments). Coming in at under $500, the cost of this drum set is on the lower end of the scale for a full-sized kit -- most things cheaper will be kids' kits -- so that's a plus. But is it a GOOD set? Surprisingly, the answer is YES! Assembly is time-consuming and will be a chore for anyone who hasn't put together a drum kit before (in no small part because the instructions are NOT done with beginners in mind), but take your time and you'll get there. Tuning the kit is another challenge, but there are plenty of video tutorials to help you with that. Once completed and you're behind this with the sticks, guess what? It sounds really good! When tested side-by-side with my other snares, this had a nice pop to it, a good, full sound. Cymbals sounded bright, too, and the floor tom had a nice boom to it. All in all, very good for the price range. I found the other toms a bit flat and dull, though still perfectly fine in the context of this set (and perhaps something a little more tuning can remedy). The kick drum is rock solid, with enough thump to keep the groove going, though not the big BOOM you might get from a more expensive kick drum. All in all, I was quite pleased with the sound. This doesn't sound like a toy kit. This is the REAL DEAL. The pedals (for the bass drum and hi-hat) both functioned nicely. This is especially important, because if these don't feel smooth and effortless, you'll hate playing -- but that was no issue here. Solid work on both. And hey, bonus: it comes with a stool! You really are all set to go with this one box (including sticks). All in all, this is an impressive kit for beginners or budget players players, easy to recommend for anyone who doesn't want to spend a lot of money but who also doesn't want a kit for kids. BUG thumbs up!

We picked this drum set up as a beginner set for our 15 year old son and we couldn't be happier with it. The drum kit arrived well packaged in a single large box. The instructions, although accurate, leave a lot to be desired. The double-sided black and white directions may be enough for a seasoned drummer to know what to do, but I would recommend you spend some time watching video's online to be sure you get things assembled correctly. The instructions don't go into an ergonomic drum setup, so you'll also want to look into that. The drums themselves are very sturdy and well constructed. The assembly process isn't that difficult, but it will take you a good portion of your afternoon to get through. The "Starry White" finish of the drums looks great, especially with all of the chrome accents. The drums themselves sound amazing! They all have a rich powerful sound and a strong resonance without any rattles or distracting noises. The one piece that definitely could be improved upon in my opinion is the included stool. It's GREAT for getting started, but it's really not up to the task at hand. The stool's seat is 'fixed' but the kids constantly want to spin/rotate on it, which left a pile of metal shavings on the ground. All in all I think this is a fantastic set for a beginner drummer and a great option for an intermediate. Eastar invested their efforts into producing great looking and great sounding drums, and included a stool so that you have everything you need to get going. We're very happy with the quality, durability, and sound that this kit affords.

Everything you need to start drumming. This is a full size drum set, so its appropriate for all ages including adults. Everything comes assembled and ready for you to set up. The components are all well made, and appear to durable so far. This is a fantastic set for someone just starting out or if you just don't want to spend a lot of money of name brand kit. Recommended!

I picked these up for my son for Christmas. He has shown a interest in drumming but I did not want to start off with a high dollar set since who knows if this may just be a phase (or he may suck at them) so these were a good choice. They are better then a bottom dollar set while performing more like a real drum set. Be aware the box they come in is HEAVY. I opened them up to check them out and played with them just a tad before boxing back up and they have a nice feel and sound. It is nice everything is included to get started immediately. This is a good middle of the road starter drum set I can recommend for a beginner in your life. Now to get myself some noise cancelling headphones. 5 STARS EASY

Absolutely gorgeous comprehensive full-size drum set. My daughter drummed for a few years in her early teens. One thing led to another, and she gave it up. Anxious to have the space back, I initiated The Selling of the Drum Set. I believe the correct word here is actually Drum Kit. A decade goes by – and we see this drum kit and jump on it. She is so excited to get back into playing! And with the passing of the years, instead of attempting to take lessons from a disorganized instructor or work through books on her own, she can now learn with the benefit of YouTube University. The functionality is all there. All the pertinent pieces are present and good quality. But it's also just an astonishingly lovely set. We're very happy with it. Definitely a strong 5 stars.

I had originally found an old set in one of my parents properties many years ago and have been playing here and there with breaks in between for the past twenty years or so. With my exposure to sets I have developed a mild bit of experience in relation to knowing what a quality versus a badly made set sound and look like. There is also the middle ground where you have a drum set that is not cheap but also not too expensive creating a fine equilibrium of reliability. This is where this neat drum set from the Eastar brand comes into play. This set caught my eye because it feel in that price category where it is just right for a nice set. I am happy to say my visual evaluation before ordering was spot on. I am happy with the quality of the wood and plastic skins as well as the hardware, It is important foe me to have hardware that I can trust and all of the support beams with screws operated perfectly without any of them sticking. Often the receiving end that accepts the fastener rods sticks- not here all of these did their job nicely. The main thing about this drum set that humorously caught me off guard is it comes totally in pieces with the buyer having to build the set from a bunch of parts. At first I was upset and thought it would be overwhelming hen quickly began to change my mind. The included directions are super vague leading the user to have to either improvise or wing it. Luckily I figured out where everything went with little to no help from the diagram based instructions which were confusing. I made sure to include a video that shows the set being un assembled to let potential buyer know what they are in store for. I am now happy this came in pieces and would not want it any other way now. I feel like I have a much better understanding of a drum set after putting it together. Also I now feel I have a good understanding of how to tune the drum skins to my preferences. By being forced to assemble the drum skins it forces the user to self train in relation to tuning. The only tool you need is included and is a special tool that can turn the long bar-like fastener screws. I like how this comes with a stool and drum sticks which are unnecessary though nice as an extra. I like the silver color which has a glossiness to it. I like the high hat as well as the pedal functionality. It is important for me to feel comfortable with a high hat pedal due to the constant usage of it of people like me who play a lot of jazz based drums/percussion. In conclusion I am very happy with this drum set and recommend it for adults and well as younger people. This is not the first time I have ordered an instrument from the Eastar brand and will continue to do so as well as recommending this brand.

This is my first “real” drum set. I have been learning on flat electric drums. Those had good bounce, but even though they helped, i am relearning my technique on these real drums. Even the pedal is different, mainly because the sound response is different. These have good resonance and i can get a good range of loudness, and a good crisp “bang”. These were easy to set up and to adjust to my reach. I dont have enough experience to give 5 stars, but these are a good set for a beginner like me.

My 6 year old daughter has wanted to learn the drums. This is a great kit for her. She’s very exciting when it arrived. The instructions are simple but easy to follow if you have the patience and have been in around instruments.

I want to tell the experience of buying this product. This product arrived before the promised date. I am very glad this product arrived earlier. before buying this product I saw the reviews of other people who have already bought this product. but I see there are only a few reviews. I doubt this product. but when I read other people's reviews about this product. how surprised I am all the very good and convincing reviews. without thinking I bought this product. because I really need it. and how surprised I was again, when the goods arrived early. I immediately rushed to try, it turns out this product is amazing. I will not be disappointed buying this product

I am telling you why I bought this product. actually I don't need this product. but because the product I was using was broken, I ended up buying this product. but before I buy this product, I first see a review from a previous buyer. whether this product is worthy of my purchase and it turns out that the previous buyer reviews are pretty good, making me even more interested in buying this product. when I bought this product. I am thinking whether this product is better than my previous product. but I think positively and I am sure that this product will make me happy and better than the product I used before. when this product arrived I was very satisfied with the results

It’s a really decent drum set. It’s a real good value. For what I would pay to get a baseline used drum kit without any cymbals, cymbal equipment, drum throne, etc., this great value of a drum kit is what I got. The negatives is the instructions for this could’ve been elaborate than just 1 piece of paper with with little scribed descriptions and a few black white photos ( I had these little plastic pieces that were weren’t mentioned in the manual so I had to figure out they were for the tension rods for the bass drum.) Also I bent the drum throne after 30 minutes of sitting done on it ( I weight 327 lbs so I should’ve read that the max limit for it was 330 lbs). Cymbals predictably seem like generic $30 cymbals. Bottom line : drum kit is a great value even though the drum throne and cymbals are kinda crummy .

Your browser does not support HTML5 video. The Eastar 20” Drum Kit is an exceptional kit for an exceptional price. Most shell packs do not come with hardware or cymbal packs. This entire package has a bass drum, 3 toms, snare, hi hat stand with cymbals, crash stand with crash cymbal, sticks, bass drum pedal and beater, and a throne. That’s a huge deal. And there’s extra hardware in case tension rods strip or anything breaks. Set up does take a while. The kit is in pieces. But it can be assembled quickly using just the drum key that is supplied by the maker. This is a great beginner kit. It’s sits comfortable and offers more than a basic beginner kit from anyone else.

We are not drum players, but wanted to add a smaller beginner kit to our practice space so our drummer doesn’t have to leave his set there. We wanted a beginner set and this set fit the bill...and the wife liked the sparkly blue color! The kit came in a large single box that weighed 92 lbs, so make sure you have someone to help you bring it into the house! The set comes with the following items: Bass Drum (with adjustable legs) and foot pedal, small mounted tom, large mounted tom, floor tom, snare with stand, 16” cymbal with stand, 14” hit hat, adjustable throne, and 2 drumsticks. There is also a key included to put your drum heads on. Yes, you have to put them together! They seem well made enough, but I don’t feel like they would make a good traveling set and that the set is better suited for learning or practicing. The instructions were complicated as they are not super specific about how to put things together, but we were able to figure them out. Once they were put together and we watched a couple YouTube videos on how to position our drum set, we were ready to rock! The stool only extends so high and with us being short we had to position our drums accordingly. The drums are fun to play and sound pretty good. The bass drum doesn’t have a real strong “thump” sound, it is a little more hollow sounding. The 16” cymbal is loud when you smash it! There is a spot behind the mounted toms to add more cymbals (purchased separately). This set will be fun to learn and practice on and we are happy with the quality of this set.

Buy a tube of lug lube to help the tension rods fasten smoother. Look up videos on YouTube to help. Shell material is good, hardware on the drums, as well as stands, are lightweight. Stands are double braced which is more than enough to function. Cymbals are typical “starter cymbals”. Bass drum pedal is excellent for beginners. As soon as you are able, I suggest upgrading to better heads (Remo or Evans) and upgrade to Steve Weiss Traditional Cast cymbal pack. Order an extra cymbal boom arm (for additional clamp in Tom mount), and crash cymbal stand. With these upgrades, this kit will be ready for performance in many styles both live and in studio. To ice the cake, replacing the hoops with a heavier gauge will make these much more durable for transport to gigs. Who/what is this kit for? The beginner youth or adult, intermediate high school student, pro as a backup or B-Rig kit, studio musician for tracking, and educator at school or home instruction.

First, the bad, heads are junk but that’s typical with any boxed drum set. But I have to say, the quality is great! I’ve owned Ludwig and pearl and this is just as good! I was very impressed with the hardware!! It was better than what came with some of my other sets. But beware... unless you know what your doing to assemble a drum kit, get someone who knows to help you, because directions are very vague! Over all... very great sounding set

I bought this drum set for my kids.tryinv to get them into drumming. Don't want to get a kid size and have to upgrade to a bigger one down the road, so this 20 inch drum is perfect for my 8 & 10 years old! The height is just right for my 10 years old. They shipped very quick and good condition, easy to set up like less than one hour. The drums looks good ,sturdy and sound good. Overall a good beginner drum. Took me an hour to put together . However there's a minor crack in one of the drum but it did not affect the performance.

Good quality items The brass is not the highest grade available... But for the price it is good with that it comes with! Good value for the items received and the blue REALLY sparkles!!!

I have been writing tons of songs on the guitar and keyboard since the lockdown started back in 2020. I was using a drum machine and a few times I spent time programming drum tracks using midi, but I could never seem to program drums to sound the same as when I play on a real kit. This kit took me a 2 and a half hours to assemble, and once the kit was put together. I had a ton of fun playing/relearning my drumming skills I had when I was in high school. If you don't think you can follow the instructions or figure out how to assemble the drum heads and cymbal stands. Then I recommend finding someone who can help you. Assembling a drum kit out the box is more difficult then I thought. Having a friend with a extra drum key helps big time. The fact that you need to assemble the drums on your own is the reason I feel this deserves 4 stars and not 5. This is a awesome kit with everything you need to start learning to make your own drum parts. I do wish it came with at least 1 crash cymbal, but for someone who is learning to play. It is possible to use the ride like a crash. That is what I do. :) I was very happy when I got my drum kit assembled and I had a blast when playing the drum kit. I had an awesome jam session without issue. This is a great kit for a student or someone relearning to drum like me.
