I was looking for something we could use in church. We don't have much space and wanted to add to our music during services plus couldn't afford a set of drums. The first one I ordered had a defect in one of the pedals and I contacted Donner deals about a replacement pedal. It would have taken a month or so to get one. After a number of e-mails, they sent me a new unit. We used it during our service and it was great. The sound really is like a full set of drums. You can adjust the volume, making it "fit" the level of the other instruments. Quality sound, looks, price. Good purchase all around.
I will say the process of handling the issue with the defective one was frustrating, in part because one customer service rep was not assigned and felt I was going in circles dealing with a different person each time but in the end they made me happy. Do wish it had more detailed instructions so all the features can be used to their fullest.

I am totally Impressed! The Donner DED-60T is a real blast. It is well made and I like that you can use headphones for private use or plug into a amplifier to share with everyone. Plus adding batteries makes it very portable. I like that I can share it with my 4 year old great grandson. We can't get enough. It's great entertainment for anyone! Thank you Donner.

Very happy with this drum
Machine The pedal work better than expected and the sounds are decent. Well worth the money.

Haven't used it yet, but will right a review once my drummer checks it out. Only thing it was a little larger that I thought, but that's ok. Got all the hardware to get up and running in the box. Sticks, AC Adapter, 2 Foot Switches, and Instruction Manual . Nice unit can be used as a full drum set with the pedals. Will come back with sound review once I have my drummer chek it out!. Nice Unit and sturdy.

The DED 60 is a lot of fun, I am not even a drummer but a great way to learn especially with the onboard provided songs. I hooked it up to my Studio PA and that is really the best way to hear the reality of the samples. Did not even bother with the onboard speakers. The only improvement would be to have velcro sticker pads for the foot pedals for bass drum and hi hat on carpet or rubber for smooth floor finishes. Great deal, a lot of fun. Kudos to Donner.

I am not a drummer - I play guitar, bass, keyboard, mandolin, and a few other instruments - but I wanted real drums to play so I can lay down basic beats on my recordings (instead of pre-recorded drums or drum machines). This was better than buying a full drum set, because it can fit on a desktop or table (or lap), and I can play the pedals and strike the "drums" with the necessary force (or gentle touch) required by the feel of the song. It was a great value for it's functionality, and it was a great price!

Purchased this for our 8 year old grandson for Christmas. He loved it and we were very satisfied with the sound and quality.

I honestly cannot complain so far. I just received this product a couple of weeks ago. I have just used it once to make sure nothing was missing, that it'd be in good working order, and most importantly to me....the sound. In all these aspects, I recommend it for beginners and experienced drummers that prefer to carry light for parties, get togethers, and even small venues that you can do the job.

This is a perfect electric drum pad for anyone looking to start working out their rhythmic ideas. Playing drums is all about coordination and I believe this is a good introduction to drumming.

Very nice quality, well-made and super sturdy electric drum set. Has tons of functions, easy to figure out and learn. But also comes with an easy to understand manual that walks you through it all. Possibilities are endless with this, the sound is crystal clear and super sharp. It is a lot of fun to play. Can’t wait to learn more every day. Very good price, highly recommend.

Most Awesome Drum Kit That I have had to Play With…
I am not a serious musician, I just love percussions and like have a set to play with.
I am over joyed with this Drum Kit. I can easily set it up where I want to play it. I can play without needing headphones. I can use them to record little silly songs. The sound is amazing for what they are.
There are some awesome presets, and it looks as if I have more options.
We just got them, today. We just played with them for a while, after dinner. They are really easy to set up, out of the box. I have not been able to even get to the instructions yet. I did see that you need to plug things in, before you turn them on. .. I got that far. I have not explored what all I can do with them; but I am super impressed with them, right out of the box. My husband is also, super impressed with them.
They came with everything you need to play! The speakers are amazing, you do not need to try to find an amp for drums. It looks as if there is still so much more for me to explore! It is exactly what I needed! They do not take up more space than I have. They sound so much better than my last drum kit, they take up less space, and they have awesome speakers!

Setup is easy. Just plug it in using the A/C adapter, then plug in the two footswitches, one for the hit hat, and the other for the bass drum, and you are all ready to go. There is built in speakers. It even includes a couple of drumsticks.
I took it a step further and plugged it into an Avatar drum amplifier with a single 8" speaker/woofer, and a dome tweeter. For someone starting out, who wants to practice their drum licks without waking up the neighborhood it is really good. The redeeming factor is that as a standalone drum kit when plugged into headphones it really rocks. Good solid sounds, evenly balanced all across the spectrum. When unplugged, and parents are going to love this while the student learns, there is no high-volume setting. Even with the volume knob set all the way to 10 the volume is very demure, yet when used with the headphone output, it totally rocks. What that means is your up-and-coming drummer is going to want to get lost in world of sound using headphones.
This is connectable to a DAW via USB/MIDI. That means you can plug it into any digital audio workstation running Pro Tools, Cakewalk, etc. and have more control over everything. That way instead of pre-sets you can plug into Superior Drummer and more, and get the exact sound you need. So, it makes a great MIDI trigger. It is built well, very solid, and the pads should last a good long time. I like the way they are laid out.

I have to confess, I didn't have high hopes for this electronic drum kit for reasons I won't go into here, so I was pleasantly surprised at its full, realistic sound, highly response (and velocity-sensitive) pads, and customization options. It's quite portable, too, making it a nice option for impromptu jams with friends.
There is no real setup to speak of. Just plug it in and you're ready to go. (The power cable is very short, so you may been an extension cord depending on your setup. Alternatively, it takes batteries.)
The pads have a great, reactive bounce to them, making it way easier and more natural feeling to do drums rolls and the like. Same with fills. I was dashing out effortless triplets right away. It feels great to play.
The body is plastic and feels pretty durable, though I wouldn't beat it up. Buttons and dials are all response, easy to use, and clearly marked. The interface is very good, a marked improvement to a MIDI drum pad I recently tried by this same manufacturer.
The various kits generally sound good, with traditional rock drums the most real and natural sounding. Some are a bit lacking, such as its 808 simulation, but for the most part it sounds really good. You can do some customization, too, tapping into a pretty solid library of additional sounds.
The volume isn't particular loud, so if you plan to play with others you'll need some external speakers, but that's to be expected.
It's got MIDI support, which is a GREAT feature, and you can even plug it into your PC and play drumming games with it. Great stuff!
Though you can get fold-out pad-style electronic drum kits for a fraction of the price, they neither sound nor feel nearly as good as this. This is a nice middle ground between them and larger, more expensive full electronic drum kits.
Overall, this is a great little kit perfect for beginners or someone who wants an easy way to practice without needing a full kit. I'll certainly be using it to create beats in my DAW.

If you can't get or don't want a real drum set in the house - This is the way to go. This a volume controlled, unit with tons of different sounds and options that you can choose from and it also works with headphones! You no longer have to worry that the house will be so loud that you can't even think, just plug in a set of headphones. It comes with a power supply but also takes batteries(all be it a lot of them!)

Fun to play. Learning to play drums but didn’t want a big set. This will do the job

It sounds very realistic to actual drums. It is very solid, strong and great for learning and playing live music. I enjoy it a lot. My 3 yr kid too enjoys it playing and practicing.
