I bought this unit because I needed a multi-effect pedal to play at church. What a great surprise when I used it with my acoustic guitar but also with my 1963 Kay electric guitar!
The sounds you can develop with this pedal is quite amazing. The chorus is very clean and easy to adjust, reverb simply is the best and with the pre-amp you get just the right edge on your tone. It's also compact so it does not take up a lot of room in your bag or on stage. I'm looking to buy another as I use two guitars when I perform! Thank you, Donner, for such a great product and unbeatable price!

I bought a Seymour Duncan soundhole pickup for my acoustic guitar, and it needed some help. This acoustic pedal, with pre-amp, reverb and chorus was a great solution. The sound is wonderful! Great purchase, at a great price.

I have been off and on about whether I like this enough to keep it. After more than a year I have figured some things out. The preamp stage: it works well for piezo USTs, piezo tune-o-matic bridges found on solid body electric guitars, megnetic soundhole pickups and electric guitar pickups. It doesn't work as well with contact transducers or systems that incorporate a microphone in the body cavity. This is best suited where there is not much discernable body resonance, as it shapes the tone to sound more acoustic. It really acts more like an acoustic simulator than a typical preamp. Which means you don't want to try to use it with a good, natural sounding acoustic pickup. The effect will be overdone and will sound hollow, boomy and brittle in the top end. I have a Dean Colt this works a treat on. I also have an acoustic with a blended pickup that I would not use this on due to losing the natural tone. Chorus: goes from subtle to silly. Has the proper controls. The effect sounds better using as described above. Reverb: this is the weak point. It needs separate level and decay controls. It is certainly usable with just a touch. Everything beyond that is so washed out that it's unusable. This is probably worth having as a tool in the toolbox, especially if you're considering buying an acoustic sim

I was excited to receive this Alpha Acoustic Effect Pedal and it does exactly what it says on the web page description. I did not have any "Noise" with the Pre-Amp volume even with turning the volume to about 12 o'clock, the Low and High really changed the tone of my guitars. The Reverb and Chorus also worked fine and I did not need to turn them too much to get the effects I want.

I really like this pedal! The sounds, the weight of the pedal is delightful. Not heavy at all! The effects are a wonderful rich sound for my acoustic guitar. All around great pedal for the price!

I use this with my Yamaha Elec acoustic I run thru a Bose-PL-1 for the Reverb and Chorus. Preamp is a nice perk. I play two kits on stage in a four piece Cover act Music from Jones to the Stone's..The other a Tele thru a Fender amp. Works great. Very sensitive on the settings..

The ability to have a very affordable 3 in 1 acoustic pedal is fantastic! Great versatility for a low budget. The tone is good and very solid construction.
BIG TUFFY
It works on both electric and acoustic guitars. Chorus is very good. Reverb is ok,but only has one adjustment so It's a little touchy to get dialed in. Sounds good though. I was expecting the Preamp to be a little stronger, but again its not a deal breaker.

At 3 for 1 how can you go wrong? Seriously, it’s cheap, compact, built well and cheap. Get one - or any of the Donner pedals.

I love this thing. It turns your acoustic guitar into a rockin powerhouse. I hooked my Talman up to it and wow. It sounds great plugged into a small solid state practice amp. Makes jamming and practice more fun. I would recommend it.

I was excited to try the Donner Multi Effect Acoustic Guitar Pedal because I am setting up a new pedalboard. Since I play both electric and acoustic, I was very happy with getting multiple effects in a small package. The pedal comes in a very nice box and is very solidly made. My favorite effect is the Reverb; it made my Taylor 522 sound great on almost all settings. I was happy with the Chorus and both effects combined gives some interesting sound options. I probably won't be using the Preamp so much, but it sounds good also. Overall, this pedal is great for any acoustic player who wants additional very clean sounds. It is a good buy for the money and I would recommend it.

I love the size, it will fit on your gig bag or hardcase EASILY. Sounds pretty good too. I love having the 1/4” and XLR option on this. Highly recommended!

I use this with acoustic guitars on stage, it gives a nice level of preamp to keep the sound engineer happy without creating distortion. The reverb I leave on all the time, its a hall type sound and just a touch is enough. The chorus effect I use more sparingly depending on the song but it sounds sweet. I have this oedal quite a while now and it is perfect for both band and solo gigs. The power supply is solid too. Great pedal, I think its time to buy another multieffect for the electric now!

Only had it or 2 days but liking it so far.
Thanks

I am very happy with this pedal.
I find the preamp excellent, particularly for the low output pickup on one of my guitars. You dont need to turn it too high to get a nice increase in volume, and the tone controls help make what is going to the desk more balanced. You may get overdrive if you dial this up too much so use wisely.
The chorus is super and in particular I like that I can mix wet and dry signals for a fatter but not too wobbly sound. The reverb is also good, but really strong if you dial it up. Anything past 1 or 2 on the scale and it sounds like you are playing in a large cathedral. If thats what you like, youre in luck. I prefer just a bit of reverb and this unit does it nicely.
The pedal is small and compact and I have heard no noise or buzzing from the power supply.
There is a mic out as well as jack out so you can go direct to a desk and/or to an amp or other effects, very versatile.
The only downsides are that the knobs are small, and the text is hard to see. Both of those things I am already getting past though as I am more familiar with it.
A good purchase

Everything is fine, there are no complaints. Barnaul arrived in 22 days. I recommend!

Preamp will still go, and the sound of a muddy, in the mix, the instrument is lost. Need an equalizer in addition. River should add a little and already a lot of it. Then it is better not to twist otherwise just chew. Pros-compactness and weight.

One and Done !
When I go jamming or Open mic I am not given time to set up a pedal board for my acoustic. The answer is a one and done pedal that covers the basics. right to the mixer thru a mic line and done I am up and down in seconds with my rig in hand. I would shake the hand of the person who built this device a big thanks.
