I don't play guitar, I play computerized keyboards. I wanted to see if would work with my keyboards and it does. I still haven't had enough time to make it do everything I want it to do but it looks like it will. Most good guitar loopers are a lot more expensive than you were asking for yours so I have hesitated in buying one. I really like this one and I might look into some of your other products. Thanks Pat DeFreese

Super easy to use. Fast shipping. Great price.

Had fun learning on guitars and such.

I bought this and I love it! It is exactly what I was searching for. The left side is a looper pedal with the right side being the drums. If you press the button in the middle it combines the two sides. It works perfect and is easy to use! I have not had any issues with it. The drums sound good and it has an indicator light that goes around in a circle that shows you where you are in the song. The pedal lights also flash with the tempo. There is also the option for adding an additional footswitch to switch between the drum and looper functions. The only thing I wish was added is country music style drum beats. You will need a 9 volt battery adapter! I bought the Donner 9 volt adapter and it works perfect also, with a daisy chain for my other pedals. Again, I am not getting paid or any benefit from writing this review. I do not even care about a discount code which is why I am not including a photo or video. I just like this product. Good job Donner!

This is the best looper pedal I've used. I had a Boss RC-50 and a smaller simple looper. Didn't care for them. I sold the boss and bought this and I couldn't be happier. This is pedal is really easy to use. I'm not good with complicated technology so this pedal is perfect. It can do a lot but is easy to figure out. Drum beats are nice. I don't care for them all. I feel like they tried to make different beats and stuff more complicated. That's nice but i wish they had some simple straight drum beat rhythms. Like for for hip hop have some standard boom bap drum beats. Still fun to use the drums and the looper is awesome.
Kirk H.
It's very good at what it does. After playing with it a bit, I realized that I would prefer a different type of looper with some more flexibility but that's my problem, not its! I'll probably pass this on to a younger musician in my family who I think will really love it.
Shane S.
I absolutely love this thing! Playing with a metronome can be so boring, but the drum tracks are much more enjoyable. My favorite is the #3 blues track. Being a stereo looper, I've had fun connecting a guitar to one channel and a bass to the other then running the outputs to my guitar amp and my bass amp separately. The channels stay separate so bass plays through bass amp and guitar plays through guitar amp. It's really upped my playing (I'm beginner, just getting to intermediate I would say). If I had one request, it would be to allow for the drum track to play on one channel or the other. Right now it plays through both, which is fine. I cannot recommend this looper enough.

Rugged construction, easy to use. Manual is written well. With a different brand name, this would sell for much more. Definitely will purchase more Donner products!

Great Product with many features...Quick Ship

Cool pedal, drums sound good, easy to use looper. Worth the price for sure.
Arthur H.
Seems to work well but I'm an amateur, still learning
Tony30 L.
It's the easiest looper to use ,the drums sound great I've had another famous brand looper in the past and got rid of it and when I came across the YouTube video of the Donner looper I bought it right away and been enjoying it ever since.
c n.
I'm having a great time playing around with the looper... the sound quality and ease of use is very good. The buttons are well spaced ...so, I don't find myself accidentally erasing loops or changing settings. The only issue I am having is ... there is nothing in the manual which thoroughly describes the foot~switch mode ie ... can the user switch from one recorded memory to the next? There are no foot~switch model numbers for a Donner product nor is there mention of any foot~switches that may be manufactured by other companies that would be compatible. I have contacted Donner several times in regards to this and have received no response. It would be very helpful to me as an artist ...

it is what I hoped for

I also own the smaller looper pedal and although it was cool and easy to use, I always felt that the stopping, playing, and looping process was difficult to master..two stomps for this, one stomp for that, etc. With the this version it is easier to work with as the functions are broken out and easier to start/stop/record. The recording time is longer and more options with the drum machine (neat extra if just jamming alone). I haven't put it through all of its paces but first glance is exactly what I was looking for.
Russ S.
I love it want another one for backup Need some country music beats added. I’m having Problem with on line syncing. Sometimes Power goes out for no reason. Have tried to turn off all sound but can’t get a total shutdown sometimes.
Emma B.
Awesome looping pedal!! The controls are super responsive, display easy to read, and the drum machine is fun, though I’m still learning how to make the most of it. And the pedal is just fantastic looking. Highly recommend.

I have finally found a way to have a patient rhythm guy to play with...

Excellent pedal looper easy to use. Good job
Tayler M.
I was skeptical about this pedal, looking at options for months. I wanted a more intuitive option to my lekato loop station. I have this set up to a Boss Katana MK-2 head send and receive option. First, the looping, I recorded several minutes of playing and dubbed over it with several more minutes and it all plays through in high quality, no lag or latency, genuinely sounds like I'm playing it right next to myself. The start/stop/dub controlls are all really easy to use, and that's what I wanted it for. Now the drum track with it was extra, I didn't really need all that, but I was pleasantly surprised at the sound of that too. It has pretty good range and let's you pick time signatures for jamming. It sounds good through my Amp so I'm pretty happy with it. It's a good product and pretty sturdy to boot.
Jason A.
The looper has quite a few features. The drum machine is great. And sounds pretty dang good. It's easy to use, and I've been having a lot of fun with it. I've bought the metal, boost killer and noise gate pedals as well. Just waiting for em to show up.
James M.
Really simple to use without the instructions.
Ric B.
Everything as advertised!
James M.
Love this looper. Very intuitive and easy to use. Although it's wired last in my chain, I keep it right up front for ease of access. What a fantastic piece of gear. It has become an indispensable addition to my LIVE arsenal!
Brian M.
Great pedal. Works great!
Game changer learning how to stay in time and make up your own loops.
Sound quality is surprisingly good.
Highly recommend
Ed W.
Easy to use, good drum selections and good looking. Does what it claims to do. I do run it through a designated amp seperately though. Too much noise in my pedal chain. Not a big deal.
Bobby A.
U need more detailed instructions to go along with the cool packaging!
Also, the drum tracks R mediocre @best!

I've been wanting a Drum pedal for a long time, however, the price of one was really high. Then, I saw the Donner Drum petal, I reviewed it and watched some videos. Just a few days before Christmas I asked my wife for it as a present. We didn't expect to receive it until after the New Year (2022) but it actually got to us on Christmas eve. My wife surprised me by giving it to me Christmas day. I love it!! It is more than I expected. Perfect! It appears the Donner Co. is selling very good products for a very good price! I'm happy!!
justin c.
Great practice tool. The drum beats are a definite plus to keep your playing in time ! Great value !
Stephen C.
I really like the Donner pedals I just purchased. They are solidly built and give you exactly what they promise. And of course the final cherry on the prize is that they are actually affordable. I got the Circle Looper and Multi Effects pedal for half the cost of other similar pedals. The only flaw is that the power adapter which came with one of the pedals, immediately caused a buzz in my rig. I'm still trying to verify that it's definitely the cause, but initially it does seem to be. Still, my overall experience with Donner is VERY GOOD. And I would not hesitate to recommend their products, and to praise their quick response in filling my orders.
Timothy L.
Amazing pedal Amazing price
Does everything I need it to do plus more!
Very Satisfied customer
Robert R.
The pedal is amazing. I got mine for $80 CAD. The customer service was absolute garbage. Cancelling orders, no updates, impossible to get ahold of, etc.
If you can get it somewhere else, do it.
Steven P.
Just got it today. Impressed with the features. Did some testing as where in the pedal chain to locate it. Putting after the distortion pedal and before amp, got some feedback. I ended up putting at the front of the chain and its better. Took me a while to figure out the directions for the firmware update. Whoever wrote that isn't good with technical writing. It needs to be clear and simple. I saw another post about the volume level and I must agree. When just playing the drum beats, even at the lowest volume level its loud. I think the scale needs to be redone. Surely that can be added in a firmware update. I want the drum beats, but I don't need it dominant in the signal. Volume level 1 should be at barely able to hear, then scale up. The next thing is there is no way to turn it off. No on switch. No off switch. Is it supposed to stay on all the time ? Or is there a way through a series of button presses to turn it off. I can only see unplugging it.
John A.
Actually haven’t had a chance to use it, but I am looking forward to jamming with it!
Jeffrey N W.
I want to like this product, and support Donner. It's a fine stereo looper, for a good price.
I thought that with 100 drum sounds, there would be a good number of usable ones. Unfortunately, most have ghastly snare sounds (all the disco beats), and many would be okay except for awkward drum fills which make them unusable, at least at certain tempos. "Funk" beats are only "funky" in that they have odd syncopations...like a programmer might think.
This is a common syndrome for guitar pedal manufacturers; Digitech is similarly guilty. It's as if they don't hire drummers, or even musicians, to make the beats!
Donner, please go back to the drawing board and redo the drum beats from scratch, with these things in mind:
SIMPLE BEATS. These make them versatile. Super basic snare-kick-hihat patterns. No busy or loud fills.
ORGANIC SOUNDS. No crazy gated-verb snares or industrial noise snares.
LOWER VOLUME for drums. Even level 1 is too loud, if we want them subtle.
I'll use it with its metronome and maybe a jazz or latin beat. I look forward to future products.
Thanks!
James W.
I love all the function of the pedal especially the drum loops well made and great value
B G.
Excellent pedal – well made and does exactly what it says it will do!!
Todd M.
It is very useful for practicing my riffs instead of running dry without a beat or backup guitar. Just record a guitar part and play my leads with it. The beats are pretty good to. Love the metronome. Haven't used it in a studio environment yet. But I'm sure it would be okay with the numerous beats that can be obtained. It's fairly sturdy for the price of the competition. I give it a 7 out of 10 in durability. The plastic knobs are the only reason I give it that. If they were metal it would receive a 10 from me. But I recommend it as a great tool for use between rehearsals or even just jamming alone in your studio or just around the house. #RockOn
Lou B.
Easy to use. Great practice tool.
Kevin M.
I have had a few loopers but when I came across Donners' Circle Looper I had to see what all the noise was about.I checked everything I could find on it and I had to buy one.And there just happened to be a promotion and I got it for a great price. The looper is fantastic and the drums sound great as an added bonus.I highly recommend it!

Great deal for a looper with so many useful features.
Some great feeling groove to practice with as well.

This is my favorite looper pedal I've tried its so much fun to put together a cool backing track to jam to.... Thumbs up Donner

Great pedal! I would give it a perfect rating if it were just a little smaller.

Great pedal at a ridiculously low price. BIG time fun!!

Circle Studio Looper as you can see I've got it run through the bus of my board so you can Loop the whole band one piece at a time or all together Great Piece thanks a lot Dave

I play an electric mountain dulcimer and compose relaxing/ambient instrumental music with several layers of audio tracks (bass, melody, harmony) before the final mixdown and mastering. The Donner Circle Looper allows me to record and save up to 4 minutes of a loop (40 individual loops/160 total minutes) so that I can play along with and even record (dub) on top of the original track loop. Watching the track loop circle from beginning to end is a great visual. This looper also allows me to record short loops for a new song that I can come back at a later time to further develop. The compact size makes it a great travel item for gigs. You can listen to some of the songs I recorded using the Donner Circle Looper at: https://linktr.ee/brian.bohlman
Richard B.
What a great little Gizmo. Ive been writing harmonies over my old licks and making new ones, Its super easy. Sometimes im just rockin out with the drum machine or throwing down a solo over a looped rhythm. Its very cool. Thanks Donner Music for making this and making it affordable! -Richie

I am having a blast with this thing. It enables me to get ideas down and recorded quickly. I have a bass and a guitar plugged into it. I choose my beat, loop a bass line to a bass amp, and loop a guitar track or two over that. Then I can jam out all by myself. The drum tracks sound good too! I had the TRIO+ and that was pretty rad but its a little quirky and complicated and it makes up it's own bass line for you. This Circle Looper is way more simple and fun for me.
Mark F.
Fun unit rakes practice.

I had several questions before I ordered the Donner Circle Looper. I emailed Donner through the Donnerdeals web site and received a quick response from Levi, one of their service representatives, my inquiries answered . Ha! I didn't tell him I had already placed my order... the Circle looper was selling fast. .... Don't hesitate, if you're thinking of getting one of these gems, do it now. Great service, Quality product, Fabulously price!!

The Donner Looper has a Looper on the left side and a Drum Machine on the right. It's great for practice and writing songs! It's the 2nd pedal on the lower left.
Bruce C.
I recently bought the Donner Circle looper.I really like the drums sounds and the the way you can add and store more than one loop.
Gary S.
I have used a number of loopers available in the marketplace. Some have been adequate but awkward. Some have lacked fidelity. Some cheap and unreliable. The Donner Circle has been the answer to a couple of issues I was having with other loopers. First the fidelity of the Donner Circle is outstanding. Stereo In / Out enhance the sonic output. Secondly, the screen tells you exactly where you are in the loop playback to aid in overdubs. The drum section has way more samples to experiment with for new loop possibilities. The switches are light and easy to engage. The footprint is perfect for a two switch looper pedal. I use the Donner Circle Looper pedal as a complement to the Line 6 POD GO and an EHX Bass 9 pedal. Between these three tools, I produce loops with guitars(s), drums and bass guitar. Easy and pleasing. AND inexpensive. Buy it. It works!
Peter M.
This thing is awesome. So many different options. A looper with this many options by any other brand goes for well over $100. Drum tracks, metronome, and a plethora of other options that I don't even know how to use yet. I have been very happy with all of my Donner pedals.

This is my first Donner product. I'm very impressed with the build quality, function and aesthetics. I was looking for a looper that was different from the "Red" models I've own in the past, simply for a different tone. After trolling YouTube for reviews, I decided to give the Circle Looper a chance on my pedal board. I'm beyond impressed. I've been mainly using it as a multitrack recorder. The drum samples sound amazing. The amount of control over the volume levels, beats and amount of recording room makes this an amazing choice for song writers, performers or one just keeping up with their chops. I very highly recommend this product.
Jason S.
I like it so much a made a pedal board just for it and my alpha cruncher. I’m new to dinner products and really like the quality metal builds and great sound.
Steven S.
Wow, this thing is amazing! Before buying my Donner Circle, I looked at many reviews. All were correct in saying there is no other looper that can compare with the Circle’s many features and affordable price.
The sound quality of both the loops and drum machine patches is fantastic. I can’t tell the difference between my recorded loops and my live playing, even after recording many layers of loops. The time-progress bar is very useful and the unit’s controls are intuitive and easy to use.
Being able to record loops with the metronome or drum machine is a great feature. Also, you’re able to mute the drum machine/metronome track so you only hear your loops, which is perfect for the ambient music I compose.
I haven’t used the USB computer interface yet, but along with Donner’s free software, it promises to open up a whole new world of possibilities in editing & importing/exporting recorded files.
The Circle’s user manual is one of the best I’ve come across, a real plus when learning how to use its many impressive features. If you want a looper with great features at an affordable price, then buy a Donner Circle Looper & Drum Machine. You will not be disappointed!
Anthony L.
Sounds quality is superb!! Easy to operate looper .. the best 1

I read up on these and saw they were sold out almost immediately and people were charging over twice as much on eBay for them. Luckily Donner released some more at the original price point so I jumped on one as soon as I could and I'm very happy that I did. Having a pedal that has a looper and drum machine built into it really adds to my arsenal. I'm bad at following instructions so I fooled around with it and figured everything out of my own, it's really that simple so that's always a plus. I'm very happy with my purchase and it comes at a incredible price for what you get the build quality is solid and I love it.
John M.
I was very excited to finally get my hands on this easy to use looper. Although this pedal was out of stock for a while, it was totally worth the wait. Buy one while you can!
Cory T.
I have not received the item yet. The tracking said a shipping label was created on the day after I ordered it, but the status of the tracking remains unchanged now 5 1/2 weeks later. The product is being shipped from a warehouse that is only a 45 minute drive, so I think the package is lost and the company will not send me another. If your not prepared to wait months for your item, don't buy it here.
Edward J.
Great unit. Fairly priced. Lots of fun to use.
Patrick B.
I haven't been able to use this item much because I have cancer but what I've learned is that this product is for Dub step musicians and I'm a blues musician. Like I said I haven't had time to go through this product . If you're into Dub Step this product is definitely for you!!
barta r.
Well built, sturdy..knobs are not loose like in some you tube videos. Very good clips to use to practice. I'm just beginning and really enjoy it!!
Gregory L.
I decided to try this new pedal from Donner as I was looking for a drum/looper combo pedal.
First, it came extremely well packaged as you can see in one of my pics. It’s made of metal, with a nice fit&finish, and definitely looks like a quality product. The two main switches are smooth to use and the two menu control pots easy to use.
It took me some.time to get used to the different function switches, but overall, I can say it’s intuitive, easy to use without the owner manual!
The first thing you will experience is that it really doesn’t like to be daisy-chained...you get an overall hissing sound with some other weird noise, which I think is normal with digital pedals. Once plugged with a dedicated power supply, everything became silent and crystal clear.
I have other loopers at home, one cheapest and one double the price, and I can say that the sound quality recorded by this one is impressive...Can’t really notice ant difference between a loop track and my play over it...
Drumbeats are good, there is probably better out there on dedicated drumbeat pedal, but there is definitely worse...I prefer those beats to the one's from my other pedal, mainly for sound clarity and versatility.
Sergio
This thing is pretty great, I must say. I am impressed. I have owned a couple of Donner pedals before. I still use their TubeDrive overdrive pedal that is pretty killer (especially for 25 bucks). I also owned their original looper, that was essentially a white Ditto looper, but it quit working after a few months.
I was hesitant to try this, but I had been seeing signs of a company trying to rebrand and step things up a notch. Also, you can't get these features in a looper unless you pay close to twice as much. After messing with this for a bit, I must say I am impressed. The build quality (especially the switches) is better than the old pedals that have been discontinued. The printed designs look of better quality, and the digital display is very nice. The knobs are solid.
Fairly easy to use. Didn't need the manual much except to explain how to slave the drum machine to the loop, and it also explains the software interface.
It sounds great and is a cool practice buddy. 100 beats to choose from (including plain metronomes). 40 memory bank presets to save on. The two knobs allow you to easily toggle either loop or beat settings independently. You can either use the drum machine independently or slave it to the looper. If you slave it to the loop before recording a track, you actually get a count off. It's awesome!
The digital display is clean and easy to see. Very nice all the way around.
Stereo inputs/outputs are truly independent. Line 1 and 2 are dedicated to outputs 1 and 2, respectively.
Comes in a nice box and brings a USB cable. Great deal!
Javier P.
Great little tool. Record a bunch of cords then proof your parts will work with them on the fly. It would be perfect if the user could choose to make one output guitar only and the other output drums only. So I can play the drums clean on the PA and the guitar on my super dirty guitar amp.
Bruce S.
So far it has far exceeded my expectations. Wow awesome job donner. it really rounded out my solo rig. I do have a question. there is really no documentation on the ext control foot pedal where can I get one and what will it do? if it switches are like the ones on the looper and I can switch between saved tracks ... I really want it.
Scott
This thing has 40 different tracks you can loop on, with unlimited overdubbing, which is just awesome. You can use it to do solo jam sessions, or use a few tracks to throw down licks or bits of songs that you're working on. I noticed no loss of quality of the sound, including with multiple effects running (reverb, delay, and chorus are my usual).
The drum machine has 100 different beats from 10 genres to choose from with various time signatures, and an additional 10 metronome beats. My only knock on the drum machine was only having two 3/4 beats to choose from (one in Pop and one in Fusion, and then the 3/4 metronome), and when I gave this feedback to Donner, they immediately said they would mention it to their production team.
The pedal is sturdy, knobs feel good, and the clicking foot pedals are easy to use.
As an added bonus, Donner is very good about staying in touch and seeking open feedback.
Erik M.
First I have to commend you guys at Donner for delivering a great product at an affordable price. WELL DONE !!!
Now by describing this as affordable in no way means cheap! I've bought looper/drum pedals at 3x this price and they didn't come close to what you guys have put together, but please don't raise the price. The drum tracks are really nice and all are useable except the "metal genre' ", lol. Not to good guys, but I wouldn't have used them anyway. Between the number of tracks per genre' and the BPM adjustment this pedal gives multitudes of beat tracks. The controls are great, most beneficial is the BPM nob. Having control over the volume on each cannel is also a good feature. The digital readout is handy. MOST of all it is very easy to use, I had it up and running within 5 mins out of the box !!! And didn't have to read the directions, lol, believe it !!!
A couple things bummed me out though. When you record a a loop the drum track isn't recorded with it. Yea so if you forget what track and BPM's you used it's a bit confusing lol. Also you can't split the signal. I don't like drums going through my good amps so I've been using it like a basic drum machine running through a Crate 150 bass amp. Also I like a bit more looping time, 4 mins is tight. And you put a smart tap on the loop switch, but it adjusts BPM's, why do that. I would rather it have been on your rhythm switch and enabled a fill. I understand there are engineers involved when building these pedals, but take from a guy that actually uses them, make a few adjustments. I own over 10 of these types of pedals bought from Amazon and other dealers. And I've been building amps and pedals for a few decades. My family is musical (3 bro's and all play instruments). You really have a great start to an amazing pedal with some adjustments. I've yet to leave a review on a company site, but felt compelled to voice my opinions and endorsement of this pedal. (plenty on Amazon though)
All in all it's a great sounding pedal I would recommend it to anyone and again I have to thank you guys at Donner for bringing a pedal to the market and not charging us an arm & a leg for it, lol, rite-on guys and gals.
**PEACE**
E Mushy

I've used looping pedals for some time, but always found some features missing, or loops were hard to sync on the beat. Then I saw the Circle Looper with a built in drum machine that syncs to your loops, I'll give that a try I thought! Ordered and arrived very quickly, it was nicely packaged, with a small but simple manual. After a quick (30 second) read of the manual, I plugged in my guitar and started looping.
The circle looper is really simple to use, if you want your loops in time with one of the many decent drum patterns press the merge button, choose a drum pattern with the drum knob, then choose a memory location with the memory knob, press rec foot switch to start recording, press stop foot switch to stop recording. Its that easy!
You can control the volume of loops and drums, there's a fade option, and the drums have a bpm/tempo option.
There's also a neat display in the center that shows you the time of your loop and a progress bar that runs around the outside. It doesn't come with a power adapter, so you'll need a standard 9v type to run it, but considering what features are included with the circle looper it's excellent value for money.
