It is a great guitar for beginners. It is sturdy, comes with a tuner, pic, strap, bag, chord flash cards, extra strings, and cloth.
It is a real instrument that plays real songs, and translates directly to a full-size guitar when a child is ready to level-up. All they did was remove the 3 thickest strings which toddlers struggle to strum or hold during chords anyway.
I'm really happy with the guitar. It is easy to tune and holds it well.
My son is only one, but the guitar is easy for him to hold on his lap and to strum.

It even comes with a tuning mechanism for anybody to use. Cards to show finger position. Song book. Excellent learning guitar! Great quality! Highly recommend!

This kids' guitar is really good quality. The tuners work well, the finish is smooth. The fretboard is smooth wood and the frets are actually metal instead of wood or plastic. This is different from a ukulele. Ukuleles have four strings. This guitar has three, and they are to be tuned like the three highest pitch strings on a full size guitar -- high E, B, and G. A little one in our family already likes it a lot. And it comes with extras like a gig bag, pick, strap, chord chart cards, and an electronic tuner.

As far as kids guitars goes this one has a lot of personality and comes with a ton of extras to help them learn and get up and running. It is kid friendly and kid approved in my house.
It is small enough for them to hold and walk around with. Perfect for their little fingers to get an idea of where to go. I ordered this for my 4 year old and she didn't even wait for me to tune it before she wanted to play.
I have never played a 3 string guitar before, but my kids always show interest when I play a 6 string. I felt like this would be a great introduction.
It is well-crafted and sturdy with a really nice sound for such a small size. Donner never fails to impress; the design and thought that went into every detail from the books to the flash cards and guitar are impeccable. It does come with a soft case, capo, strap strings, flash cards and books. There is only an interior pocket that won't really hold much, I feel like they could improve the bag with an exterior pocket for all the extras.
Overall, it is definitely worth the cost and would make an excellent gift. At its current price, it could be slightly hard to justify.

I am beyond impressed by this guitar. Not only does it include alot of helpful accessories, but the quality and material are great. This is nowhere near a toy guitar. This is a great Starter Guitar for anyone no matter what age. I strongly recommend it as the price can't be beat considering everything included.

I grabbed one of these for my niece, but I had to good around with it first, of course. This guitar is the perfect size for small children, and the action isn't too much for little hands. As others have mentioned, the nut at the top of the fretboard was loose, but I was able to quickly super glue that into place. It seems like it'll hold, and I'm not too worried about it. My niece loves it. It's her favorite gift from me, and now she can make music with her dad and I. Would highly recommend.

This is ideal for awakening a young child's musical muse. This does ome with a pick, strap and tuner and also stays in tune. It's a child sized version and is the real thing. I love it!

Very small 3 string guitar in the tuning of G-B-E (lower three strings), but that expected when I ordered it. My daughter 9, who is very petite, has struggled with playing a 6 string guitar even though it is a parlor guitar, same goes for a petite electric guitar as well. She has also had a tough time pressing down on the light strings also. This guitar is unique as for the strings are really light and coated, come with a spare set and allows for easy playing for her. She already has experience playing a Ukulele and was beyond pleased with this now. It comes in a soft padded case and the flash cards for learning all the chords and different finger placements are serious bonus. She has been learning the chords quickly because of them. A tuner, strap, polishing cloth, pic and access to a learning app are also included. I too play the guitar so I've been helping her on her way, but she loves playing in general so she picks it up on her own as well. The instrument with all the accessories and perfectly made case are a value with this and on par with the asking price. I though the price should be lower, but then the frets are butter smooth and the finish is really nice. It's an adorable little guitar and with a piezo pickup (not included) and some poster tape and an overdrive pedal she will finally be able to rock out like she has wanted to.

For 3 string guitars there are a few different tuning options, I went with GBE (the standard bottom 3 strings on a 6 string guitar). I have never played a 3 string guitar before, but my kids always show interest when I play a 6 string. I felt like this would be a great introduction. Got a little guitar for my kids to share. After seeing them struggle to finger chords on the ukelele, an instrument with which I'm not completely familiar, I decided to try the 3- string guitar. It's so easy because I already know all the chords and scales as a guitar player. They can put one or two fingers almost anywhere and be making music instead of noise. It stays in tune way better than any toy ukelele or guitar. It's really an instrument, not a toy. I did have to make a small adjustment to tighten the tuning machines because they were buzzing when the strings would vibrate. It's fine now, easily fixed with a wrench. I would buy again.
